5.00We did a bike tour with Mico for a family of 5, with kids ages 16, 14, and 5. Mico was an amazing guide and we biked all over Osaka and saw and ate things we wouldn’t have otherwise. It was like hanging out with an old friend. Do not hesitate to book a tour with him. He is phenomenal.

5.00Mico was our tour guide for our days in Kyoto and I specifically wanted to highlight his curated day trip to the mountains north of Kyoto. This included a world heritage UNESCO site village in Kayabuki na Sato with a great experience exploring a remote village and walking through some of the homes; Amanohashidate, bridge to heaven, a unique experience overlooking Sea of Japan with fishing and beach time; Ine fishing village with a boat tour. He’s super engaging, friendly, knowledgeable, makes it a fun experience for kids and adults alike and on city tour days, he took off-beaten, less crowded paths, interesting scenic hikes and made it a memorable time for the whole family! He was definitely our favorite guide of all we hired exploring various cities as we traveled through Japan. Recommend him wholeheartedly 100%!

5.00Mico came highly recommended by several travel-savvy families, and now we completely understand why. Visiting Osaka for the first time with our family of four (including two young kids) felt overwhelming at first—the options for food, entertainment, and activities are endless. But with Mico guiding us, the experience became smooth, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable. He created a thoughtfully curated itinerary tailored to our family’s interests, and every food stop was outstanding—some of the best we’ve had anywhere in our travels. Mico kept a great energy throughout the full-day tour and did an amazing job keeping our kids engaged and entertained. Beyond the tour itself, he went above and beyond—helping us check into our accommodations, offering guidance on where to stay, covering food and snack costs during the tour, and making the subway system easy to navigate. He also gave fantastic recommendations for dinner and ideas for the following day, which turned out to be excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Mico again on future trips to Osaka and Kyoto.

He was incredibly flexible with our needs, deeply knowledgeable about Japanese culture, and helped us confidently navigate the train system with ease. What really set him apart was his ability to show us hidden gems and local spots we never would have found on our own. We covered an incredible amount in just half a day in Kyoto and Osaka, and it never felt rushed. Mico is kind-hearted, thoughtful, and passionate about what he does — truly a fantastic tour guide.
