  Everyone was very nice and helpful. Their service was wonderful! I made the mistake of not knowing my way around Central Park or the neighborhoods. I was not aware that when I reserve the bikes, the bike shop was a few blocks away from Central Park. I assumed that the bike shop was in central park or right next to it. Because I did not feel comfortable having my kids ride through traffic to get to Central Park, I asked for a refund/cancellation when we arrived at the store. The employee was very nice and told me about the companies closer location. We walked to that location and rented our bikes from that place. There are different locations to ranger bicycles. In the future we will rent at the location either right in the park, or right next to the park. Again, I did not know that there were different locations and was not familiar with the area. I assumed renting bikes in Central Park meant that the bikes would be in Central Park, not a few blocks away. Now I know. They were very accommodating to us. Thank you.

  The company has “barkers”out at every corner. Looking to rent bikes. I had The New York Pass for my five day stay. Looking for the location of bike rental which came with the pass. He showed me brochure with the New York Pass clearly written in the NYC Bike Rental info. Great ..... so aggressively he led my daughter and I away from where we were. Several blocks away to the location. Taking up a lot of time and walking. After fitted for bikes I was sent to the desk to give my ID. At that time I was charged $44 for two DELAPITATED bikes. I again said I had the New York Pass. Told her the man that spoke to me and personally led me to the company told me it was honored for included bike rental. She told me the guy passing our their brochures and carrying their poster worked for himself !?! They said oh sorry...wrong location. At that point I paid the cash and left because of the time it sucked out of our day. I expressed my issue and they could care less. Tough feeling when you realize you were scammed. My daughters bike skipped gears all day. It was a tough tough ride. Knowing I would have zero customer service we sucked it up. Lesson learned. $44 way over charged. Plenty of other bike rentals around the park for less. Beware It’s no more than a bait and switch.
