5.00Our day touring Sydney with Real Sydney Tours was FABULOUS. Darryl was the perfect guide: knowledgeable, friendly, responsive to our questions, open to our requests, and accommodating in every way (including consideration for my broken foot which was in a boot). In addition to the general Sydney sites, we asked to see Jewish sites and were treated to an exterior view of the gorgeous Old Synagogue as well as a full tour of a modern one, along with a fascinating visit to Our Big Kitchen and a lesson on Jewish Australian history. We could not have been happier with our day and were sad to have to say goodbye to Darryl and to the city. We give Real Sydney Tours the VERY HIGHEST recommendation!

5.00Darryl picked us up from our hotel and tailored our tour around our interests, taking extra time and effort to show us a couple of lesser-known Sydney spots we would never have thought to visit without her guidance. Our tour of Jewish Sydney was such a stress-free and enjoyable way of seeing the city and learning more about its history. Darryl thought of everything, scheduling in bathroom stops and even recommending the best lunch spot for our tastes once the tour finished up! Highlights of the tour included The Central Synagogue and the great work done at Our Big Kitchen.

5.00We booked a customized tour for my daughter and me last minute. The owner was so responsive and our guide, Eddy, was a real GEM! Because we only had a few days in Sydney, it was also convenient he zipped us around in the car and showed us places we wouldn’t have necessarily gone to on our own. Because it was just two of us, it was $$$ but we definitely got a lot of value.

5.00We did a Jewish heritage tour with real Sydney tours. Darryl arranged for a wonderful guide named Eddy to show us around. He was knowledgeable and friendly and altogether wonderful. He showed us both the Jewish history and Australian history along with all the important places that Sydney is famous for. It was everything we expected and more. Thank you Eddy!

5.00We spent two days with Jeff and Daryll touring Sydney. We were able to customize and see the wildlife center and a lot of Sydney sites. It was well planned out and great to have it customized to what we were interested in! Only wish we had longer in Sydney to enjoy the fabulous city. Thanks so much!

5.00What a day! Eddy took us through Sydney, and shared not only the history of the eastern suburbs and Jews presence in Australia, but portions of history of the land and city in general. He didn’t hesitate to share some his personal experience living in Australia as well. He was so welcoming, it felt like we were visiting family. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about Sydney, and who wants to meet a true Australian treasure. Thank you for a highlight of our trip!

5.00Thanks for a great tour, Eddy! Eddy took us around Sydney in his car, he is very friendly and personable, and has a great life story. We learned so much about the city and Jewish history of Sydney. We had lunch at a great Israeli falafel place that we would never find ourselves, as well as saw places we would never otherwise find. Real Sydney Tours was very easy to communicate with and responsive to my questions. Great day in Sydney!

5.00What a wonderful opportunity to see the various neighborhoods within Sydney from the viewpoint of someone who lives there. Darryl was terrific and also included a visit to the Jewish Museum, Central Synagogue and a drive by of the Our Big Kitchen (it wasn't open). We learned about Sydney's vibrant Jewish community - it's history and a view of its current challenges and successes. Well worth the time and the money.
