Transportation was efficient and timely. Our tour-guide was knowledgeable and had good English communication skills.

There was last minute changes to the tour we originally booked. The operator timely informed me of the change and found an alternative solution which worked better than the original plan. The driver was punctual, professional and very cordial.

Very good and interesting, the guide we had at the concentration camp was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. I would have only liked to stay a little longer during the second part; that second half was very rushed. I definitely recommend it; our driver was also very friendly, and overall, the logistics from when they picked me up at my hotel to when they dropped me off were all excellent.

The excursion starts with an early morning pick up to the train with the guide putting you on the right train. Upon exiting the train, you are met with a second guide that’s drives you to Auschwitz museum. A third guide gives the tour. Long day! The only problem with the tour is the train without guidance. You are set to guess when to get off the train as all the announcements are in Polish.

It was well organised. This tour requires a lot of walking and Eugene was good and informative presenter. I think toliet breaks could be longer than 10 minutes. No time to eat or have a snack so eat something before going on the mini bus. When in old town krakow you have to follow directions to train station by map they give you which can be tricky for some people who are not regular travellers.

This is a very full day. We opted to pay the extra 200 zloty each to get the express trains which do not stop between Warsaw and Krakow. We were picked up at 6 am and got into Warsaw from the 8pm train just before 11pm. We had time in Krakow to have something to eat after our train trip before the 90min drive to Auschwitz. The tour itself was extremely rushed. No time to read the signs and being a public holiday we had huge crowds there. Our guide spoke far too softly to hear and you spent half the time trying to see where your group was so you didn’t get lost. The tour of the camp is extensive with a lot of walking so don’t go if you’re not able to be on your feet for 90mins at a time. There are stairs and uneven surfaces. You get a 15min break after tour 1 so bring your lunch or a snack to have before the short transfer to Birkenau camp for tour 2. This is more of an outside tour and took about 1hr. You then go back to Krakow by car and have a couple of hours there to wander the old city and eat or have a drink. Our train back to Warsaw left at 8.05pm. I’d recommend having a phone to use the maps app so you can get to the pick up and departure points easily. The tour is excellent and Krakow a wonderful and picturesque city to visit. Loved it. You just need more time to read the signs at Auschwitz so it’s not so rushed.

Early start 04:45, hotel pick up transfer to the station all worked well, driver explained everything in detail. Coach transfer and pick up to and from Auschwitz also worked well, a very long day but worth the visit and trains clean and comfortable. Just a few niggles; the mini bus transfer was very small, not a lot of room so somebody really tall might struggle and one set of seats was in the recline position apparently broken so if the minibus was full this would not be very nice for somebody sitting there. Also, we bought this tour in good faith as 3 hrs in Auschwitz and 3 hrs in Krakow; but NO !! all we got in Krakow was 1hr 15 minutes as had to return to the train station to come back. Rather missold on timings so was a little disappointed. Apart from that, the day was brilliant and would definitely recommend.

Really good guide and handling of transportation. Short stay in Krakow, with time for short sightseeing and dinner. Worked super well.

After teaching a unit on the Holocaust for the last 30 years with my 8th grade students, I am glad that I finally made a trip to see Auschwitz and learn more about its history. It was both a harrowing and fascinating tour. We spent two hours being guided through the camp at Auschwitz I, and then another hour at Auschwitz II/Birkenau. Our guide (I am sorry I didn’t get her name) was exceptional. Her knowledge of the camps was second to none and she explained everything with a great deal of compassion and empathy. At times, her narration was so strong that she made us feel the pain of what people went through in the camps. I applaud her immensely. The driver who picked us up from where we were staying and delivering us to the Warsaw Central train station, and then picking us up at the end of the tour was also very friendly and prompt. The only drawback of the tour was the local driver who took us from the Krakow train station to Auschwitz and back. While asked more than twice by people in his bus to turn on the air conditioner as it was very hot inside the vehicle, he ignored those requests. Moreover, he adamantly refused to drive one couple back to their hotel, the same hotel from which he picked them up in the morning. He made them get out of the bus at Kraków’s Old Town and find their own way back to their hotel. I am certain that this couple did not receive all that they paid for. Despite that, it was an informative and worthwhile trip to a place that is so very much a part of our world history.
