  Our guide was professional, positive, and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history and culture of the island. We were driven around the island which gave us a good overview of Faial’s vistas and communities. We had a delightful picnic at a park along the way.

  We've traveled to many countries and continents, but this excursion around Faial was one of the best. Andreas is a true island expert who made the excursion an unforgettable experience. Lunch in the park was delicious and organized with love for the guests and the food. Special thanks to Andreas's wife, who made an incredibly delicious sauce for the very tasty pasta. Everything was amazing.

  Our full-day tour on Faial was an all-around fantastic experience. From the very beginning, the booking process was smooth, and the communication beforehand regarding the meeting point, the individual itinerary, and even dietary restrictions was easy, attentive, and well organized. On the day of the tour, everything was perfectly arranged. We not only explored the most beautiful parts of the island, but also learned a great deal about Faial, its people, traditions, and its fascinating geological features. Andreas is an excellent guide, driver, and host: knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely friendly. The lunch was a thoughtfully prepared elevated picnic in the park we thoroughly enjoyed, both in terms of taste and atmosphere. We highly recommend this tour and would book it again anytime. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to experience Faial in an authentic and in-depth way.

  We only had one day on Faial and wanted to see as much as possible. After the nice reception at the ferry, we also started immediately to the first lookout point. We learned a lot and our questions were all answered. It was like a casual conversation between friends that we learned a lot from. At noon there was something delicious to eat and a lot of effort was made. We can only recommend it and would like to thank Andreas and his wife very much and wish them all the best for the future.

  We had just one full day on Faial, and we're extremely pleased and thankful to have spent it with Andreas. Kind and witty, engaging and professional, Andreas is a wonderful guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of the island. We loved the mixture of personal anecdotes, historical context, natural scenery, and beautiful sightseeing, not to mention a delicious homemade picnic lunch at a tranquil park. Would strongly recommend this tour.

  This is an excellent tour. We had a limited time on Faial so decided to take the tour to make the most of our time there. We visited all the main sites and other places of interest. Andreas shared so much interesting information about the places we visited. He was very knowledgeable and willingly answered questions. He offered an interesting viewpoint as he has lived in the Azores for several years but is from elsewhere in Europe. He shared many interesting insights to the unique culture and lifestyle in the Azores. We had a lovely picnic lunch in a forest park. The day felt really special and I can highly recommend this tour.

  Guide showed up 5 minutes early. The entire tour was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable guide with lots of interesting stories. Perfect English. I would absolutely recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our stay in Horta.

  Andreas, our exclusive guide, was really kind and professional. Very knowledgeable about geography, history, economy, volcanology and geology of this island.   Andreas organized and designed the tour perfectly. We got to know beautiful places on Faial and learned a lot about the history and natural conditions.
