Batterie Allemande de Longues-Sure-Mer

5.00Our tour guide was outstanding. He possessed a wealth of knowledge and was eager to answer all of our questions. When he learned I was searching for my grandfathers grave, he suggested we stop for flowers and was very sensitive to my need for a moment alone once we found it. I would highly recommend him for any future tour.

5.00Florin picked us up at the Bayeaux Train station and we did an afternoon Juno tour. Florin is very knowledgeable and shares the information in a beautiful story telling way. He was very patient with my elderly parents and we never felt rushed hopping in/out of the van to see the sights. My 84 year old father said he would love to spend more time just listening to Florin share the history of this time period. This was a highlight of our European vacation and we would highly recommend Florin. So thankful we booked the tour with him.

5.00Let’s start from the beginning. We communicated with Florin via email who was very accommodating and made the booking process very easy. We booked the half day Canadian sector tour. On the day of the tour, Florin picked us up right at our Airbnb in Bayeux. He was very personable and funny. It was just my fiancé and I with Florin who drove us from site to site in his immaculately clean van. At no point did the tour feel rushed or scripted. It is obvious this is more than a job for Florin and that this topic is truly his passion. He was so knowledgeable. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who knows more about a subject than him. We especially liked how he took the time to remember where in Canada we were from and pointed out people from the war who were also from our hometown. Pure class. I can’t recommend Florin and Spearhead Tours enough. Thank you for a memorable day visiting a place I’ve dreamt of going my entire life. It was the highlight of my trip. Carl and Emily
