ザ・ジャーニー
毎日上空から雷鳴を上げ、130mのクーマナシグの滝まで行くと、イーグルズレイクの暗く黒曜石の水辺に聖域があります。 ここでは、260mの高さを誇るコーリーの崖の下に立ち、時が刻んだ息を呑むような地質学的傑作をご覧いただけます。
イントゥ・ザ・ワイルド
目印の付いたトレイルを後にして、ケリーの本当の住民を目撃するために開けた荒野を縦断する。 山ヤギ、野ウサギ、ワタリガラス、雄大なオジロワシなど、目を凝らしてください。 報酬は? ケンメア湾とギザギザのカハ山脈の360度の眺望。

What To Expect
Sneem
午前11時にアレインド・ロッジに集合し、その後車でトレイルの始点まで向かいます。 今日の散歩では、壮大なダンケロン山脈の近くまで行きます。丈夫な靴底を備えた防水ブーツが必要です。 ノックナガンティー山に向かって石畳の道を登り、その後分岐して美しいクーマナッシグ滝とイーグルズ湖を目指します。途中、氷河期の氷河が残した岩だらけの露出部の周りを歩きます。 暗い水の湖の端を迂回し、滝や崖の壁まで歩いていきます。クーマナシグ滝の高さは 130 メートル、崖自体の高さは 250 メートルです。ここで約 30 分間滞在します (天候によります)。持参した軽食や飲み物を楽しむ良い機会です。

5.00This was an absolutely wonderful hike with Fergal. He is so knowledgeable about the area and shared his knowledge with us. The walking sticks made a huge difference. We have hiked before without them and now I know I will always use them in the future. We were lucky that other than a few sprinkles when we stopped for lunch the weather cooperated. We had bad rain the afternoon and early evening the night before but that just made the waterfalls more breathtaking.

5.00The walks were fabulous. The scenery was stunning. Our guide Fergal was excellent. His attention to detail ensured that the walks were very enjoyable and safe. The guest house which was run by Trish and Chris was beautiful and homely. Breakfast was always freshly cooked and packed lunch was also provided. A really unexpected perk was that our wet and muddy boots were cleaned and dried for our walk the following day. Well done to all at Alaind Walking tours. We will be back. Would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of a hiking holiday in Kerry

He tailored the hikes to our preferences and fitness, gave us very interesting information about the places, brought us to beautiful scenic viewing points. We stayed in his fabulous B& B, driven to and from the hikes. I highly recommend Fergal to anyone needing a mountain guide.
