  A beautiful spot to enjoy some wine with pleasant views of the countryside. Sunny winters day was a bonus but balcony design would work in all weather types. Our host Danny as great, had excellent wine knowledge and kept us company during our visit. Will definitely be going back soon.

  Rainy Monday afternoon. Great weather for robust reds at Ivanhoe wines. Danny guided us through the afternoon perfectly with plenty of insight and fun. Thanks for a beautiful afternoon. Locals holidaying close to home.

  Great afternoon spent doing wine tasting with Danny at Ivanhoe wines. He really made it a enjoyable and memorable experience. Was also nice talking to Danny about Newcastle (England). The wines were very good and was nice to hear about them as well as getting the recommendations. The other worker Shaun was also fun and friendly. Would highly recommend.

  I have been buying wine from Ivanhoe wines for almost a decade. They have never missed a heartbeat. Perfect service, great atmosphere and superb wine! I reject the 1 star review that was recently posted. This post is not about Ivanhoe and I genuinely guarantee that if you visit Ivanhoe wines you will have one of the best wine experiences in the Hunter Valley.

  Great experience guided by the legend Danny. Views and wines were outstanding, but the service provided by Danny made the tasting even better. We visited five wineries and Ivanhoe was the best one by far thanks to the gentleman who looked after us.

  We visited Ivanhoe as part of a private Hunter Valley winery tour from Sydney. We very much enjoyed talking with Danny and he made our experience special. We bought two bottles of wine and would have bought more but it would be too costly to ship it home to the US. I really hope we visit Australia again someday soon and we would definitely return!

  Amazing setting, beautiful view, nice wines and great sommelier Danny . Danny has great knowledge of the area wineries, Ivanhoe’s wines, winery, grapes and techniques. Would definitely go back again .

  We are members and the view and the service keep us coming back to The hunter to try new wines and have a delicious cheese board of local delights, despite already getting the wines delivered to our door throughout the year. We took our children again this year and Danny and the team very accommodating and offered them a drink and colouring in to do. The kids love exploring the sculpture garden and looking for the geese. We love the generous serves and talking to The staff about the beautiful wines they make. Our favourite is the chambourcin!
