  Helen did an amazing job introducing us to the culinary delights of Lyon. The directions made it easy to find the Old Town location for the start of the tour and then we covered some ground exploring both the history of Old Lyon as well of the delicacies for which the area is famous. when we were finished not only were we filled with delicious food, but we knew more about Lyon as well.

  Excellent information, history and tasting and well organised given the heat of day. If there was a negative it would be the amount of information given which was probably driven by the guides enthusiasm for her the tour.

  It’s a wonderful way to really experience the culture thru food. Your guide will also tell the history of the area. The guides are very experienced. We had Oliver who was wonderful. The only item to note is the description says the tour ends where it started. That is inaccurate. Not a big deal unless you have someone picking you up.

  Our tour guide Anna, was incredible. She was so friendly and so knowledgeable about the history of Lyon and the history of gastronomy here. The food that we tasted today was true to the area and region. There were many hidden gems along the way and secrets to learn when you take this amazing tour.   Nathalie was fantastic. Vibrant and excited about Lyon. She was so interesting and we learned so much about Lyon, and tried wonderful foods and sweets. Such a treat to have her guide us around Historic Lyon. Our first stop was my favorite. Fred had the best cheese and sausage and a great sense of humor. Selfishly, there was only one other couple so it was more intimate. First rate!

  This is a great tour. Loved the way Charlotte incorporated history of Lyon with the foods. Stops were well selected and fun. Just beware that there is quite a bit of delicious food and lots of walking ( wear comfortable, sensible shoes). This was a terrific 3 hours. We feel we know Lyon a little better. Would definitely like to have Charlotte for another tour, loved her perspectives and knowledge.

  We had a fantastic tour with Charlotte. She gave us a lot of interesting historical context on the foods we tasted and on the city of Lyon. The food was amazing and plentiful. I highly recommend this tour!
