  In the whole I find it a very worthwhile experience, it combines very different and very fun activities, very friendly staff, very comfortable transport and very rich food. To put a stick on it, on the cave tour we expected something else, the path you pass once you are inside the cave is too muddy and difficult to cross, plus the photos are perhaps more impressive than it is in reality.

  Our guide, Mr. Dani, was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had the best day possible. It had rained overnight and earlier in the day so the cave was a crazy muddy mess, but muck boots were provided as well as hoses to wash off after. Definitely bring a change of clothes just in case you slip and fall. But honestly, chucking through the mud made for a rollicking adventure and the view of sunlight streaming through the hole was well worth it. The lunch the cave provided - chicken, tofu, vegetables and rice cooked in banana leaves - was delicious. It was a very early start to make it to Mt Merapi for sunrise but we slept in the car going from there to the cave so it all worked out ok. Visiting the museum to see the damage the eruption caused in 2010 was sobering and also a highlight of our day. Timang beach is not a beach, beach - you do not need to bring a swimsuit! Definitely take the hand powered gondola out to the rocky outcropping and watch the waves smash into to coast. It was mesmerizing!

  This is an amazing tour from Asmaradhana Borobudura Tours, well worth the very early start. The 3 activities should be on all yogyakata bucket lists. I cannot speak highly enough of our Guide Hibza. He went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect for the day and was simply a pleasure to be around.

  The best day of the trip in Indonesia. Our driver Himawan was the best driver ever, he was very friendly and funny and give us a lot of information during the trip. I really recommend this experience, the sun rise was really nice and so was mount Merapi, but the Jomblang cave and Timang beach were breathtaking.

  This is an excellent tour. It is packed with diverse activities from riding 4x4 to see the sunrise, to walking the underground passage to be amused with the tower of light coming from the openning 60m above, to enjoying the astonishing view on the rugged cliffs at the beach. My special thanks to our guide, Dani. What makes him special is a deep and wide knowledge of Java and Indonesia history, culture, and everyday life. We had a broad discussion spanning from local fruits to the history of Java religions, and he always had the answers and stories to share. I strongly recommend the company and the driver Dani. Practical suggestions for the cave tour: if you have it, take your headlight with you. Also, you may want to have a spare dry clothe in the trunk in case you need to change after the walk.

  Truly an adventure of a lifetime! From taking a wild jeep-ride through winding roads at dawn, to witnessing a cinematic volcano, to rappelling down to a heavenly cave, to zipping across the furious ocean to a mysterious island— this tour kept my adrenaline going!   Excellent Tour! Enjoyed the Merapi Volcano Tour and the Cave tour. Good weather helped us as well. Volcano Guide and Cave Guides aRe highly experienced and professional. Our driver Arma is punctual and extremely understanding. He even assisted us to customize the itinerary as we we traveling.
