  We had an amazing experience with Mike from Mike’s Private Tours. He was on-time to pick us up in Munich and got us to our tour of Neuschwanstein with time to spare. He has great knowledge of the area and the history of it. Mike had a great day planned for us, including an excellent lunch spot. We would definitely tour with him again next time we’re in Munich..

  Alex was very well informed on the history of King Ludwig and kept us entertained all day. He also passed along details of the area and daily life in Germany. We had lunch at a local spot he recommended and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour and Alex.

  This was a fantastic lesson in history as well as amazing views of the Fussen area. The bike ride and swim were refreshing. Lunch was delicious. Of course, the castle was grand. The guides were personable and knowledgeable. It is a great way to spend a day seeing part of Bavaria. I highly recommend this tour.

  This was my favorite day in Germany by far, because the tour offered so much variety in a single excursion. We joked that it was like doing a mini- triathlon, but totally enjoyable. Tyler was a great (and patient) guide, especially when people signed up for the bike tour who didn't know how to ride, and when we overshot the turn! We chose to bike to the lake, swim to the middle for a photo op (Tyler was a lifeguard, btw) and go to lunch, before hiking to the bridge and taking a tour of Neuschwanstein castle. The restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed getting to know the other tourists and our guides. The castle tour is not a joke--do NOT be late--but it was cool to see the inside of an iconic site. The countryside is beautiful, and Tyler's American English made him easy to understand.

  Tyler and Karina were great tour guides and it was definitely one of the highlights of our Munich trip. The bike ride was really fun, even in the rain and the castle was unbelievable!

  I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to check out the castle but also enjoy beautiful views along the way. The bike ride was very easy and the lake was beautiful. Lunch was also very good. Tyler was a great guide, full of funny insights and historical information.

  This tour, through Mike's Bike Tours in downtown Munich was excellent! Hunter and Sarah were wonderful, lively and informative tour guides. Our tour was not over-crowded so we were able to see a lot and learn a lot. Highly recommended.
