  Spending the day with Eri was the highlight of our time in Osaka. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and came prepared with just the right amount of history to help us truly understand the culture and context of the city. The experience was a perfect introduction to Osaka. We enjoyed incredible meals at the market, visited beautiful temples and shrines, and discovered hidden spots that we would never have found on our own. Eri was attentive throughout, adapting the day to what we were most interested in and making everything feel easy and personalized. She also showed us how to navigate the subway system, which gave us confidence for the rest of our trip. If you’re visiting Osaka, I highly recommend starting your time with Eri. Whether you want to feel more confident exploring on your own or make the most of a short visit, she will help you experience the best of the city.

  i'm 72 and have never been to Japan before. The Viatour guides were universally excellent introducing us to an entirely new world experience. Aquino was gracious, extremely informative and very kind. Osaka castle, dining area of Kyoto and general touring were unexpected and great fun with a great personable guide.   The key is your ability to fashion the tour to your interests. Of course, a lot depends on your guide. We had Hina and she was fantastic!

  Kina was truly exceptional. She was able to customize the tour for my limited time in Osaka. She reached out to me ahead of time and remained in communication before the trip, which was very reassuring. Kina is very knowledgeable, friendly, and explains complicated Japanese history in a very understandable manner. Her English is also excellent. I highly recommend this tour, particularly with Kina.
