  The boat captain ( Dave )was a really nice gentleman, and maneuvered the boat with ease. The lady ( can't recall her name ) was very knowledgeable of the area, and told us about all the little islands that we went past. The captain even spotted an Eagle, and he stopped the boat so we could see it and take pictures of it...

  The scenic route was beautiful, and the guitarist did a wonderful job entertaining everyone throughout the ride. His music added a special touch and made the experience even more enjoyable. About halfway through the trip, it became very windy and much colder than we expected. I wish we had been better prepared and brought a blanket or extra layers. One thing that could be improved is the cleanliness of the boat. There were quite a few spiderwebs throughout the seating areas. Since I’m very afraid of spiders, it made me a little uneasy during the ride. When we signed up at the booth, I also wish we had been told that guests are allowed to bring their own food and drinks onboard. We noticed another person with a cooler full of snacks and beverages, and that would have made our experience much more comfortable and enjoyable had we known in advance. We sat at the back of the boat, where the views were absolutely beautiful and unobstructed. However, the guitarist didn’t mention the available binoculars until halfway through the trip. We had seen others using them but assumed they had brought their own. It would have been helpful to know about that feature from the beginning. Additionally, if you’re seated at the back of the boat, it can be difficult to hear the commentary over the speaker system. We could hear the music and singing just fine, but much of the information about the scenic route was hard to make out. Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable ride. If we had known to bring snacks, drinks, and something warm, and if the spiderwebs had been cleaned up, it would have been nearly perfect. Of course, nothing is perfect, and I would still absolutely recommend this experience. Hopefully, this review helps future guests come a little more prepared and enjoy it even more than we did.

  If you are concerned, be sure to ask about on-board washroom facilities. They are very limited. I was concerned and asked, but not enough. We liked the guide's narration. Very knowledgeable and informative.

  This is a great way to see some beautiful sites and also learn about the history of Door County. The narration was very interesting and there were times just to enjoy the views. There are sodas and water for purchase which was great because it actually got warm in the afternoon sun. We all really enjoyed the trip.
