  David picked us up right on time. It was clear that the day was ours to plan however we wanted, and he offered a number of different options for how to structure our day. He was very pleasant and the van was clean and comfortable. I’m glad we went this route rather than a tour bus.

  I have joined the 2D1N private tour from Escape Scenes for Blue Mountains. Our tour guide Dave (David Edwards) is amazing; his informative and interesting guide is making the whole trip fruitful and meaningful, apart from just driving and drop off, but bringing us many good stories and knowledge of Australia. The experience is so great and Dave will shows you some places only locals knows (where the sceneries are all breathtaking!) Moreover, Dave is well-planned but ready to improvise, more than willing to make adjustments on our wishes. Also very kind, polite and helpful. If you wanna see places that local knows, find Dave!   Wonderful tour with Dave for our day in the Blue Mountains! He greeted us at our hotel and we decided how we would spend our day. Dave is able to take you to the places that the tour busses can not access. He has a great knowledge of the area. He also spent time showing us birds and plant unique to the area. He found a nice lunch spot and we finished the day with ice cream before the drive back.

  We had the most amazing day. Absolutely beautiful scenery and David is a first class tour guide. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. We would highly recommend the private tour. There are so many benefits and it feels so personalised. We loved it and thank you David. We will be back next year for another tour.

  An amazing experience with David from Escape Scenes !! His incredible knowledgeable of the Blue Mountains took us to places where we saw carnivorous plants, secret valleys and beautiful waterfalls, things you won't see ordinarily. We spent the full day with David and he kindly picked us up and dropped us back to the door of our hotel in the cbd and he gently suggested better alternatives to what we had seen in web searches including incredible walking and mtb trails for our future reference ! All-in-all this was the best value experience during our Australia Day weekend in Sydney ! Great value and a great day - thank you David !

  David is incredibly knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains, the walks and the towns. He helped us see things that you will find hard to see on any other tour because he points out things like the carnivorous plant that only grows in one location on a single rock ! He is also super accommodating when it came to our preferences and gently guided us away from the mainstream. We had an exceptional experience over the entire day. Highly recommended !

  Amazing experience! David was an excellent guide — very attentive, kind, and clearly passionate about his job. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and it shows in the way he explains, helps, and makes everyone feel comfortable. Everything was well organized, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommended! 👏
