What To Expect
Songzanlin Monastery

Great one day trip to Shangri-La

5.00This is a great tour for anyone short on time, but wanting to cover highlights in Shangri-La on a one day visit. Prior to being picked up at our hotel, SilkRoad Trips communicated with us confirming date and pick up time. We were in a comfortable mini-van for our ride. Our tour guide, Tenzin, spoke very good English, and gave us some interesting insights into the history of the town, and its people. We toured Songzanlin Monastery, and spent a good amount of time there. Tenzin took us to the best photographic spots, which we appreciated. Thereafter, we had a delicious lunch, before proceeding to walk around Dukezong Old Town. The tour concluded with a drive to Napa Hai lake. Well worth the long day. Great experience for us, great tour guide and company! Would definitely use again
