  This is a bit of a mixed review from me We were picked up by the taxi on time and got to the speedboat no problem. Sebastian o the speedboat was brilliant. I have some mobility issues and he really helped. We then went to a separate island which was to include snorkelling as part of the price we paid We were met by a tour used called john who then charged us £25 each to go snorkelling !!! He said it definitely wasn’t part of our tour, it definitely was, we then had to pay £10 for sun beds !!! All other parts of this day were brilliant but please be aware before you go there’s a strong chance you’ll get ripped off

  Perfect day with the exception of the glass bottom boat (which was offered to us as soon as we arrived on the island) which was actually a tourist catch.We saw no fish.We wasted 1 hour of our time.Sadly, everything else was perfect.

  Superb excursion, little crush for the Ile au Phare, very good lunch in front of an idyllic beach on Ile aux Cerfs. Nelson, the captain, is an excellent pilot and brought us a lot of information.

  It was my first time coming to Mauritius, and I have heard about the wonderful beaches and exquisite boat rides! The experience was amazing. The captain of our boat was so helpful and kind and an exceptional guide. My children and I loved the exhilarating feeling of the seawater and air on our faces. The lunch was pleasant, eventhough I expected more variety to the dishes. All in all, I would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Mauritius as a tourist. It was definitely money well spent!

  Nice expiriens, the guide - boatdriver was very friendly. The island is beautiful place with a clear water. Snorkeling wasn’t interesting, there are few fish. On the river you can see monkey, the meal of grill was incredible!

  ile aux cerfs is a nice island with plenty of activities.. we have a nice time snorkeling, doing parasailign activities.. the food was local and delicious!! feeling the island life :D great organization !!

  The best part was communication with the driver. Even if he didn't arrive at 07.00 but only at 08.30, the communication and the subsequent transfer was good. The boat was sufficient for the four of us and the two "drivers". Shortly after the departure came the first stop: For no small amount of money, we could have waded through the water in the form of an astronaut. The price was still reduced, but that was not in our focus. After a small waterfall, we stopped in shallow water for snorkeling. On the part of the guides came the hint that this spot was uninteresting, but you could snorkel. But on the way back we would drive to another reef, where the conditions for snorkeling would be excellent. After the stay we went to the Ile aux Cerfs. Not without pointing out the possibility of paragliding, which is offered several times on platforms in the sea. Many boats anchor on the island or lie in the sand. Accordingly, many guests. Tourist very developed, incl. Restaurant, toilets and vending stalls. Our guides left by boat with the announcement to pick us up at 1 p.m., which did not happen, but only 20 minutes later. Afterwards we drove at "snail pace" to another beach where lunch took place. Again, the two "boys" left by boat, also with the advice to pick us up again at the agreed time. Same situation: We were at the agreed spot, ads boat with the two guides did not... Came again about 20 minutes later. Now we were excited about the upcoming snorkeling spot... But the drive line and the final stop was the starting point of the morning!! When asked about the question of the snorkel course still to come, the lapidary sentence came that they had run out of gas!!! This can be explained by the various longer "private trips" of the guides. Any discussion and complaint with the guides was ignored. However, this also applies to the complaint written to the organizer (Freshverde Holidays) immediately after the holiday. Over three weeks have passed without any reaction! An absolute OUTRAGE!!

  Great time at ile aux cerf islan.. thanks to benny for the incredible boat ride.. pure adrenaline :D.. we saw plenty of fish during snorkeling.. Indeed magical.! local food was nice and had a couple of local drink.. again an amazing day!

  Rude and unprofessional tour operator. Ile aux cerfs is not at all what it used to be. Really disappointed.
