A great hike with informative and patient guides!

5.00Our group of 4 was perfect for this hike. We had one member of our party who came down with a cold on short notice, but still wanted to go. The guides were great and very understanding. We went slower than most groups that I read in previous reviews, so I'm glad we were the only people on the tour, so we did not hold up strangers. We took many short breaks along the hike but the trail through the woods was magical. We were expecting to get closer to the glacier (which may or may not have had to do with our slower than average pace). I believe we were told there would be about a 600 foot elevation gain, but it felt like more.

5.00Cruise into Juneau, and booked this tour for a hike and waterfall tour. The rain had us wondering if this was the best decision. Our tour guide, Katie was excellent. She offered several suggestions, and we decided to take a shorter hike and walk over to Nugget Falls. She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! Thanks Katie!!!

5.00This was a highlight of our cruise! Our guide was amazing - knowledgeable and kept a nice pace. We were the only people on the trail and it was so clean and beautiful. A much needed break from the crowds. My kids had a blast. Perfect effort to reward ratio!

5.00This was an amazing hike! Kevin was friendly and informative. The hike timing allows for an easy pace. Usually I like to go a little faster, but the scenery was so unique and beautiful, it was nice to go slower and soak it in.
A wonderful way to spend a day in Juneau.

The walk had stunning views and quite invigorating. We were provided with water and snacks. Thanks to Aleesha for a great time. Your English guests were impressed.

5.00Shannon was a fantastic guide, and I would highly recommend this tour. The hike is about 3.5 miles, and I would consider it on the easier side of moderately challenging with about 600 feet of elevation gain. Shannon did an excellent job of setting the scene and explaining the history, flora, and fauna of the area. The views were amazing throughout the hike. Because we are used to hiking, we made quick progress. I casually mentioned that one of our favorite things about hiking was seeing waterfalls. Shannon quickly suggested that because we were making such good time, we could add in an optional mile or so hike to Nugget Falls from the visitor center. This proved to be the highlight of our trip. Overall, this is a truly excellent tour. I would not book this if you have any mobility issues or if you are not someone who enjoys hiking.
