Pick up at 6.30-6.45am from select accommodations in Darwin. We start our Kakadu tour by heading towards Kakadu to join a wildlife cruise on Corrobboree Billabong. This is a great opportunity to observe crocodiles and the prolific birdlife in their natural habitat. After the cruise, we commence our drive toward Kakadu National Park.
Cahills Crossing
Stop & enjoy a picnic lunch near the East Alligator River with the opportunity to spot some crocs and flying foxes! Enjoy a short walk to Cahills Crossing lookout.
Ubirr
Ubirr is home to some of the best examples of Northern Australian rock art. Take a walk up along the path to the top which has amazing views in all directions, overlooking the Nardab Floodplains, the East Alligator River and across to the escarpment country to Arnhem Land.

Maguk Gorge
Get ready for an exciting day, starting with our first stop at Maguk (Barramundi Gorge). A scenic 40-minute walk along a creek bed leads you to a breathtaking plunge pool, perfect for a refreshing swim, framed by dramatic rocky cliffs.
Gunlom Waterfall Creek
Next, we sit back and let our 4WD do the work as we head to the southern end of the park to discover Gunlom Falls – a stunning emerald waterhole tucked away among eucalypt and melaleuca trees (seasonal).
If time permits, we will finish the day with a swim at Ikoymarrwa (Moline Rockhole), which requires permits and has restricted access for most visitors, but is fully accessible to Territory Expeditions passengers.
