• Fabulous guide and amazing experience

  We were thoroughly impressed by Axis Africa Safaris! They were very responsive, reliable and thorough with their initial information, flexible to accommodate our budget and needs. Our guide, Ahmed, was very knowledgeable and flexible throughout the safari days. We booked a 2-day safari trip to Masai Mara and saw the big 4 (minus a black rhino) and an abundance of wild life, including lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, zebras, impalas, warthogs and lots of birds. Ahmed communicated with other guides and changed routes to give us the best experience possible. He took a bunch of amazing photos with a professional camera and shared them with us. What a treat! Our camp was great too. We stayed at the Wild Nest and they took good care of us, providing generous packed lunches and decent buffet breakfasts and dinners. Overall, Axis Safaris organized a fantastic trip for us and we highly recommend them!

  Woe I honestly have no words to describe how amazing this experience was. From the moment we left Nairobi until we arrived at the Maasai Mara everything was perfectly organized. The attention to detail was outstanding. They made sure we were comfortable safe and had every opportunity to see the incredible wildlife. Our guide Miguel was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the Maasai Mara and its wildlife, and the local environment. He always made sure we had everything we needed including lunch water and plenty of breaks. The highlight of the trip was seeing the Big Five, which was truly epic and an unforgettable experience. Miguel went above and beyond to make our safari special. I highly recommend this company to anyone planning a safari. You will be in great hands from start to finish. Gracias

  Fantastic, Fantastic, Fantastic. The whole experience of the safari was extraordinary. We saw lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants and so many more. This was largely due to John Mwangi. His knowledge was outstanding. He worked well with his colleagues to share information on animal sightings. He got us there safely and promptly. He made a trip of a lifetime better than we could ask for or imagine. His professionalism and kind temperament mixed with enthusiasm, punctuality and reliability made the tour brilliant and fun. No question was stupid. He made sure we had the best views of the animals. John Mwangi navigated tough terrain seamlessly. The transport was clean and very comfortable. This man is an asset, he deserves a pay rise. The accommodation and food was lovely. Nothing less than 4 stars. It was great value for money. Thank you

  We had a fantastic Safari with brilliant accommodation. Our driver John Mwangi was wonderful nothing was too much trouble. He arrived on time everyday. We saw all the animals. We stayed at the Jambo Mara Lodge. Well worth every penny.

  The experience was wonderful. The game drive, trip from Nairobi to Masaai Mara and back was excellent. Our driver John Mwangi was the best. Very knowledgeable and professional.

  The safari was an excellent experience and a true adventure. Our tour guide made the entire trip enjoyable and memorable. We were a group of eight, and our driver, John Mwangi, was knowledgeable, patient, reliable, and respectful throughout the tour. His expertise and friendly attitude greatly enhanced our experience. Thank you again, John, for such a fun-filled and well-organized safari! One recommendation for larger groups: if you are traveling with a lot of luggage, it may be worth booking two vehicles, as the luggage compartment was quite small and space was limited.

  Just fantastic. A very special thanks to the guide / driver YASIN who provided us with the best places to see elephants, giraffes, hippopotams, rhinoceros, chitas, zebras etc etc always with the best angle to see and take the best photos. No doubt it is worth doing this Safari in Massai Mara with a visit to the village Massai organized and accompanied by Dani wowviages. Yasin Asante sana.

  I loved the experience! It was my first safari and it was amazing. Our tour guide was Yasin and it was noticeable the knowledge and experience he has. I felt we were always on top of things, seeing the best moments of the animals. I really recommend this trip!

  I loved our 3 day safari experience with our tour guide Yasin. He was always helpful and very nice to us. He also knew a lot about the animals! My first time visiting Kenya was great and I’d definitely do it again.

  We had a wonderful time and made unforgettable memories. We felt safe and comfortable in the hands of Yasin, our guide. We spent our summer vacation in Kenya with Axis Safari for 7 days, and it was truly mesmerizing. The days passed so quickly, and every day brought a new experience. Seeing wildlife in their natural home is a different feeling altogether, especially with a guide like Yasin. I would like to take this moment to sincerely thank Yasin for the exceptional care and hospitality he showed us throughout the trip. He is not only highly professional but also kind, patient, friendly, and always smiling. His passion for wildlife and nature truly made our safari experience special. He has vast knowledge about wildlife, explained everything politely, and made sure we were learning and enjoying every single moment. Yasin always made us feel secure and comfortable during the journey. His driving skills were excellent, especially on the challenging safari roads, and we were truly impressed by his confidence and experience. He was always punctual, attentive to our needs, and eager to make every game drive exciting and memorable. We traveled with our 7-year-old daughter, and it was heartwarming to see how caring and friendly he was with her. They became very good friends, and she was always excited to spend time with him during the safari. Leaving Kenya was very emotional for us, and we are going back with heavy hearts but beautiful memories that will stay with us forever.
