  Maura was fantastico. She is a fountain of historical knowledge and respectful of religious beliefs. Maura is friendly and we enjoyed our afternoon in her company. Highly recommend.

This is everything you wish to find in a guide for a magnificent look through magnifying glass into which ever city you choose or which ever tour. You won't go wrong.

  Maura was exceptional in our tour - both in explaining the cultural, historical and religious context of Assisi but also in her kind and thoughtful approach. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would love to book a next tour with Maura soon. We could not recommend her more!!

  Maura was incredible - she gave our family of multiple generations an excellent tour we will always remember! From start to finish, she was warm, kind, accommodating, and professional. I made a mistake on the date of our tour, and she was gracious enough to do the tour for us that day in the time slot she had available! When it was time to meet her, she gave us great directions and made it easy to find her. When we finally met her, she was warm, compassionate, and made us feel like a part of her family. On top of that, she gave us a top-notch tour of the main sites of Assisi. She knew all the highlights to share with us - historical, religious, and cultural facts and stories. And she shared them with us in a way that kept us interested and engaged, while also moving us along. I appreciated that she was also very accommodating to our guests that had mobility issues, and was flexible and gave us options so our tour would be tailored to our needs and interests. We had the best time, and we will always be grateful for her kindness and compassion and energy! Grazie, Maura!

• Seeing Assisi’s Finest Sights with Assisi’s Finest Guide

  We took a couples tour of Assisi with Maura. She was superb. Starting from the top of the town, she took us through the beautiful neighborhoods and introduced us to some of the locals along the way. As we made our way down the hill toward the Basilica of St. Francis, she pointed out all the points of interest, including the best spots for taking pictures. Here knowledge of and passion for Assisi are unmatched and she had us fully prepared for our trip through the Basilica. Maura even suggested options for lunch and then made reservations for us. By the way, her suggestion of Re Tartu agli Orti was spot on as the food, service, and atmosphere were top-notch. This group of tourists gives Maura two thumbs up—-way, way up!!

  We booked a tour with Maura for me and my group of art students traveling from abroad, and were so glad we did! She is engaging, upbeat, and delightful - and knows all the best places to visit. My students loved her, and I enjoyed her energy and passion for this city and all it has to offer. She also suggested the best restaurant for lunch, a real gem!   Maura provide two tours to our group of 7. She was friendly & extremely knowledgeable. She is a great storyteller and our tone with her went by quickly. We toured Assisi one day and Perugia the next - both were decimating & beautifully explained to us. Highly recommend!

  Maura was extremely knowledgeable and helpful during our Assisi tour. She offered a wealth of information about Assisi, the region and culture in a fun and passionate way. In our month in Europe this was by far our best tour. She was not rushed or hurried and gave us in depth insight into St. Francis and the town around us. We would highly recommend Maura as your guide.

  We had the pleasure of participating in a tour of Assisi with Maura, a truly exceptional tour guide. Professional and prepared, but at the same time nice and easy-going, she managed to involve us with great naturalness. His stories, full of anecdotes and historical curiosities, made us relive events of the past as if we had been there. Thanks to his ability to explain clearly and passionately, each of us was able to fully understand and appreciate the beauty and history of Assisi.   Maura was simply the best! She was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable! We learned so much about Spello and the surrounding area during our walking tour! Maura was also wonderful with our three young children (ages 6, 4 and 2 years old) too! We enjoyed our tour and our time with Maura immensely!
