  Had a brilliant time kayaking to and from Cathedral Cove with our guide Hayden. We had initially booked to go kayaking in the afternoon, but the evening before Mike messaged to ask if we could go out in the morning instead because the weather forecast was perfect. The weather turned out to be unbelievably sunny, clear skies and calm waters! Even though none of us had been kayaking before Hayden helped us with all that we needed to know and guided us throughout. He was great with our 9 year old as well. Enjoyed hot chocolate, coffee and cookies on Cathedral Cove beach before kayaking back to Hahei beach. Will never forget the time we went kayaking on the Pacific Ocean. Thank you Hayden and Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours!

  The kayak tour was incredible. Our guide Hayden was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and took our photos during the tour. He was great and helped us plan the rest of our time in the Coromandel. Our kids (ages 14&12) also loved the tour. We learned so much about the area and Maori history. We saw a handful of sting rays, which was exciting! He made coffee and hot chocolate as we explored Cathedral Cove beach. It was a great way to experience the area.

  We had an amazing day paddling out in the kayak, Brad was a 10/10 host bringing the local knowledge and a great hot choccie and biccies at the beach. Would highly recommend if in the area. Thanks guys!

  Despite weather not being on our side to land at Cathedral Cove, it was still an awesome experience. Hayden was a great guide, very reassuring & provided much history & cultural significance of the area. To top things off, he also arranged a big dolphin pod to greet us as we were reaching our landing spot 😉 Great coffee & bickie to warm us up at the end. Thanks Hayden, we loved it!!

  Thank you very much for Georgia and Georgia 😉 to discover this part of New Zealand, it was amazing ! Very open to explain and they adapt themselves and vocabularies at the foreigner tourists thank you for that. Have a great continuation

  Wonderful trip. Some hesitation about whether to go given a brisk wind, but decided it was OK; the guides were extremely competent and made sure everyone got launched safely, and masterfully guided us around the islands and out to Cathdral Bay, where they served espresso drinks(!) while we toured the photogenic spot, then shepherded us safely back to Hahei. The guides carried cameras, and shared a nice set of pictures on Flickr for us to keep as a souvenir of a great experience.

  We had an amazing day with Georgia kayaking around Cathedral Cove. We really appreciated their flexibility. The trip had to be rescheduled because of windy weather, and they rearranged the next day to accommodate our schedule. Georgia was very thorough in explaining what we needed to do and had a lot of interesting information about what we were seeing along the way. We’d highly recommend this event to anyone visiting the Whitianga/Hahei area,

  Very enjoyable trip in beautiful surroundings. We had to go elswhere bevause of the weather and the communication about this was very clear and done in time. The instructor was a very relaxed person with a good sense of humor and knew a lot about the area.

  Great experience! Appreciated that they called us and arranged for us to do an earlier tour because of bad weather forecast for later. Mason was an excellent guide, really helped with launching and landing on the beach, also made us barista quality hot drinks on the beach.
