  This day was incredible - so glad I booked this tour ; my family was very impressed ! Our guide Diego picked us up from our hotel prompty at 7 AM. While on the road he took that time to educate us on the Mayan and Chichen itza. He had books, an ipad, and a 3D model of the temple. we LOVED the conversation and his passion for sharing what he's learned. So interesting ! We leared so much while touring chichen itza - so much to take in (the clapping, 'the game', the skulls'. Just incredible ! Afterwards we headed to Valladolid for one of the best authentic Mexican lunches - like, REALLY good food. After checking out a spanish wedding at the monestary, we hit the town square to check out a beautiful church, purchase the best Mexican chocolates, fresh coconut ice, and the tastiest iced coffees before we headed to the cenote. The cenote was the cherry on top - thats all I say because you have to see an experience it for yourself ! Thank you Diego for such a memorable day. My family will remember you and talk about this day for years to come. Bravo !

  We had a fantastic day visiting Chichen Itza, Valladolid, and a cenote with Josh as our private guide. He was knowledgeable, engaging and brought the history and culture to life in a way that made the experience truly memorable. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a lovely restaurant in Valladolid, and a perfect and relaxing walk afterwards. The cenote visit was stunning and a perfect ending for the day. Many thanks to Diego for organizing everything and to our driver Phillipe for his safe, smooth, and comfortable driving. Highly recommend Josh for a personalized and enjoyable tour in Cancun!

  I highly recommend Pixan! Our guide was knowledgeable and calibrated our tour around our energy level. At Chichen Itza he worked to make the storytelling interesting for our kids. The cenote was beautiful and we had it to ourselves for most of our visit. In Valladolid we had excellent sorbet. And the best part is the lunch with the Mayan family—delicious and unique. Way better than our resort’s food!

  It was an amazing day with Josh our tour guide who was so friendly, knowledgeable and fun👏🏻 The trip was excellent and very flexible to our needs. I would definitely recommend the private tour of Chichen Itza World Wonder. Seeing the history of Mexico was amazing. Josh’s knowledge was great and one part of the day we loved was the meal with a Mayan family who were so welcoming and the food was incredible👍🏻 If you are thinking of booking a tour I would not hesitate to use Josh and Pixan tours🙌🏻 It was a full day with a 6:45am start which was well worth it to beat the crowds as we had the site practically to ourselves!   Awesome day guided by Josh and bus driver Phillipe, Organisied through Diego. Transport was more than adequate (larger vehicle) for our group and arrived on time to our accommodation. Our personal guide Josh was great, knowledgeable of the area and its history, took us to a cenote that was breathtaking with next to no other people there. He organised a lovely place for lunch and gave us a walk around tour of Valladolid and its beautiful historic buildings. This tour company is well organised and easy to deal with. Highly recommended.   Diego is very knowledgeable and provided an excellent tour, not only of Chichen Itza, but of a few other spots along the way. Phillippe, who drove, was equally kind and enjoyable to spend a day with. In addition to the tour of Chichen Itza, the cenote we went to was stunning, and there were only nine other people there. We found the day interesting and relaxing (we didn’t have to drive, navigate, etc). We highly recommend Pixan Travel.

  There are a lot of tour companies offering private excursions to Chichen Itza and it can be difficult trying to decide between so many choices but Pixan is 100% the way to go. Yosua (Josh) was our guide for the express Chichen Itza private tour. He picked us up right on time, logistically there were zero issues and the drive was very smooth and comfortable. Once we arrived, getting past admissions and into the site was a breeze and only took a few minutes so everything was very well organized. Josh doesn't just recite facts, he is able to tell stories and engages you in a genuine way. We learned a lot and felt free to explore and take it all in at our own pace. Overall, it was Josh's approachable and down to earth personality that made the tour so fun beyond just seeing the magnificent ruins.

  Diego, our tour guide, did a fabulous job explaining many aspects of Mayan culture in the context of all we saw at Chitzen Itza and beyond! His knowledge, coupled with his great command of English and his courteous manner left us with the best experience of the Yucatán thus far! For lunch, we chose traditional Mayan, which was tasty and the ambience was well kept, tastefully decorated Mayan restaurant. Valladolid was a nice stop as well.   Our tour was definitely the highlight of our anniversary trip to the Riviera Maya. Diego was an exceptional tour guide, and through his in-depth knowledge of Mayan civilization, really made the history come to life. We thoroughly enjoyed our authentic Mexican lunch in Valladolid and were in awe of the private cenote we visited. It was so nice to be able to escape the crowds and have a relaxing one-on-one experience with a private tour. Pixan is the best!
