5.00We got to the river early in the morning. The sound of water crashing into rocks was heard loudly, and the current seemed to move with breathtaking energy. As we put on our helmets and life jackets, I felt a mixture of emotion and nerves. When we entered the first rapid, the raft began to jump over the waves. The cold water splashed over our faces and we all paddled hard following the guide’s instructions. Every turn of the river brought a new surprise: fast currents, giant rocks and moments when it seemed we were going to tip over. After passing the last rapids, the river became quieter. We were all wet and tired, but also happy. It was an experience full of adrenaline and fun that I will never forget.

It was a walk along the Santo Domingo River very fun and with lots of adrenaline, good rapids and a spectacular landscape.
