This tour is including a car at your disposal during the tour, transfer to a beautiful winery in Montecarlo where you can taste 4 different types of wine.
After the winery, free time to visit Montecarlo, a magical medieval town that is on top of a lone hill, with an amazing panorama.
After the visit, the driver will take you on a different part of the countryside of Lucca to Experience a real Tuscan farm; Among the silence and the scent of the hills, the Farmhouse and its cellars are still intact, just as they were in the 1600’s.
It’s in this setting that we want to invite you, where you can learn about our history and the products of the Farmhouse: a taste of the past in Tuscany.
Here you will taste local cured meats and cheeses, a bruschetta, a typical first course ‘Lucchese’ dish, a tasting of the Farmhouse’s olive oil with slices of bread and a tasting of 5 of our wines from the Farmhouse .

Montecarlo
First stop in a beautiful modern winery in Montecarlo, where you can taste 4 different types of wine. After the tasting, transfer to Montecarlo - free time to visit Montecarlo, a magical medieval town that is on top of a lone hill, with an amazing panorama. It has earned the Touring Club's Orange Flag, a symbol of a high-quality tourist destination. Famed for the dazzling beauty of its surrounding landscape, it is also known as a major wine-producing area, as its far-stretching vineyards testify. The town's well-preserved historic centre stands within a splendid circuit of walls on top of a lone hill, which reaches a height of 163 metres above sea level. After the visit, transfer to the last winery.

5.00We had an unforgettable day with Road Trippin’ Italy and our driver, Riccardo. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every part of the journey easy and enjoyable. Riccardo took us to two outstanding wineries. Our first stop was Tenuta del Buonamico in Montecarlo, where Eleanora guided us through a lovely tasting and shared her deep knowledge of the wines. The wines were excellent and the setting beautiful. The second stop, Fattoria Maionchi, was absolutely fantastic. The historic estate, the family’s warm welcome, and the lunch pairing made this one of the most special tastings we’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Francesco and Andrea radiate love for their family’s history and winemaking—it’s impossible not to be swept up in their enthusiasm. This tour was the highlight of our trip to Italy. If you’re looking for a seamless, authentic, and truly memorable wine experience, we highly recommend Road Trippin’ Italy and Riccardo.

5.00Perfect trip - pick up by Ricardo from our hotel in Lucca (Palazzo Busdraghi) - private Mercedes mini van. Our time could haven’t been better. Knowledgeable and accommodating, Ricardo took us first to a winery for some wine tasting, then onto the historic and picturesque town of Monte Carlo , not a tourist in sight as we mingled with the locals, drank Aperol in town while people watching before going onto a truly memorable time - lunch with the great grandson of the original owners of Maionachi Winery. Superb food, wonderful stories delivered with a true passion. Worth every penny and a tour we’d do again. Brilliant way to experience the wonder of the real Italian Countryside

5.00We were lucky to have Riccardo as our driver for two whole days of wine tasting, cooking classes and sight seeing during our stay in Montecatini. He provided a fantastic experience for my wife and I and made sure we were well taken care of at each place we visited. His knowledge of Lucca, San Gimignano and Santa Maria De Guidice were invaluable

5.00Spent a lovely morning with Ricardo taking us through the countryside of Lucca and Montecarlo and to two wineries. Ricardo was knowledgeable about the history and area and provided a wonderful experience. We especially loved the wine tasting and lunch at the Maionchi Winery which was straight out of a movie because of its beauty and because the grandchildren are restoring this wonderful place began by their grandparents. Lunch was fabulous and were the wines. We highly recommend this tour!!

5.00We had a wonderful day in the hills of Tuscany outside Lucca. Thanks to Road Trippin Italy the day was memorable and thoroughly delightful. We enjoyed two wineries and a delicious lunch typical of the area. Our guide was professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour and the company to anyone looking for a unique and fun experience!

5.00Benedetta Pierotti was WONDERFUL and very informative and knowledgeable, on our journey! She was able to get special services added to our journey - without any additional cost. (well worth the adventure) I will certainly use Benedetta services again and advise others to do so as well. Can't wait to return - need to see more of Tuscany and Lucca area.

5.00My friend and I were in Tuscany for the first time, and thanks to Road Trippin' Italy, we were able to just take in the beauty of where we were and not worry at all about logistics! Our driver, who is from Lucca, told us many interesting facts/history about Lucca and the region during the tour, served as our photographer a few times, and even gave us great recommendations for a special place to have dinner in Lucca! Booking, payment, and all other logistics were seamless - we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Thank you so much!!

5.00Amazing tour!! Biagio was fantastic and took us to some brilliant vineyards and also showed us some of the history of the area, which was an added bonus! One of the best wine tours we have done. Would highly recommend.
