  An excellent guide, Pana, took us on a brilliant tour of the castle and surrounding areas. Although still a student she had an excellent knowledge and obvious love of Budapest. She gave us lots of interesting facts at every stop and made sure to look after everyone in the group.

  This walking tour is a "must do". You learn about the history of the city, the country, and the Buda Castle district. In a 2-hour low stress walking tour, you get great views of the Danube river along with the beautiful venues and landmarks of the city of Pest for high above in Buda. You will walk by St. Mathias church, the Budapest government buildings, the royal palace among other things. What makes this particular walking tour memorable was our tour guide, Panna. She was enthusiastic, well informed, funny and highly engaged. She weaved stories/legends with actual history to make the content enjoyable and relatable to the group.   The Free Walking Tour in the Buda Castle was terrific. Our guide Mark was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer any and all questions about the area and Hungarian history in general. The tour was well paced but went at the speed the group wanted to go. Very informative. Highly recommended.

  Fantastic tour, well-paced, informative without being stuffy. Our guide was Panna and she was terrific. Highly recommended - you’ll learn so much. We had gorgeous weather as well, and lots of opportunities to take photos.

  Very informative tour and exceptional value for money. Our young guide, Panna, was very knowledgeable as we were able to take in the many aspects of the Fisherman’s Badtion and surrounding buildings in Budapest.
