Visit the Gorreana Tea Plantations, the oldest tea plantations in Europe. See the oldest tea fields in Europe.
Then head to the Furnas to explore the valley and dive into the thermal springs to relax and connect with nature.
After visiting the thermas, stop for lunch at the Furnas. Try the famous mixed meat cooked or many of the other menu options.
After lunch, visit the lagoon and stroll a little to appreciate the surrounding area.
After the visit to the lagoon, it is time to go to Vila Franca to see the world famous island.
Finish your Ponta Delgada tour with a visit to the pineapple plantations.

5.00This tour was amazing, all the sight we visited were worth going to. Our tour guide was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. She explained a lot about the surroundings and the place we went to. My favourite places was the furnas and the tea plantation. Definitly can recommend this tour.

5.00That was unexpectedly interested tour in the end of our holiday when we thought all was seen. Julio took us to interesting places, have us non encyclopedic information and left us after nearly 8 hour tour, longing to be back soon. Thank you.

5.00This adventure was cool. The highlight was really our tour guide. We had Andre, very nice guy and knowledgeable. If you get him as a tour guide you will be blessed. We had to pay for lunch with was very good, so it is worth it.

5.00We did two tours one with Silvia to Furnas and one with Carlos to the north side. Both were great guides. Very funny and knowledgeable and really made an effort to make everyone happy and enjoy themselves. Would absolutely recommend!

4.00Our tour through São Miguel was simply outstanding! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized. The island is incredibly beautiful anyway, but the competent and warm manner of our guide André made the tour a truly special experience. Particularly impressive was the enormous knowledge about the history, nature, and culture of the Azores – every explanation was exciting and authentic. André was extremely friendly, attentive, and addressed all requests. It was noticeable how much passion the tour was conducted with. The pace was also pleasant, allowing enough time for photos, questions, and simply enjoying. Anyone who truly wants to get to know São Miguel should definitely book this tour. Absolutely recommended – 5 stars and would do it again anytime! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

5.00Wonderful! The drive from Ponta Delgado takes you North and then to Furnas and loops South after so you really get to see the dramatic scenery. Furnas is a must see! Lots of stops. Bring towel, flip flops, swimsuit to enjoy the thermal bath in Furnas. Guide Miguel was great and so were the other group travelers!
