We start from Tirana with a relaxed morning pickup and a special Albanian coffee. Then we stop at a local street for authentic Byrek and traditional Albanian delicacies (lunch on me). Next, visit my private magic waterfall for a peaceful swim or relaxing moment. We continue to the spectacular Vjosa River Canyon near Përmet for breathtaking views. Then we explore Gjirokastër — the UNESCO stone city, the historic Old Bazaar, and the impressive castle (at your own pace).
Blue Eye, Butrint & Ksamil Beach Relaxation

A full relaxed day on the Albanian Riviera. We visit the magical Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër) — the famous natural spring with crystal-clear turquoise water. Then we explore the ancient UNESCO archaeological site of Butrint (Greek, Roman, and Byzantine ruins — easy flat walking). In the afternoon we enjoy Ksamil Beach — one of Albania’s most beautiful beaches. Plenty of time for swimming in the turquoise sea, relaxing on the beach, having lunch with a sea view, or simply unwinding at your hotel.

We leave Ksamil in the morning for a beautiful scenic drive along the Riviera with plenty of photo stops. Stop in Himara for a relaxed walk around the charming old town, coffee, and drinks with sea views (on your own). Continue through the picturesque village of Dhërmi. Stop at Borsh Waterfall for refreshing photos. Visit Porto Palermo Castle — a dramatic fortress by the sea, with time for a swim in the crystal-clear water. Drive up the breathtaking Llogara Pass with epic mountain and sea panoramas. Enjoy a delicious lunch at a wonderful mountain restaurant with fresh local products. The tour ends with a special personal experience: visit my father-in-law’s house to meet locals, taste homemade rakija, and enjoy real Albanian hospitality and stories. Comfortable return to Tirana in the evening.

5.00I came to Albania for a wedding and decided to stay to explore the country, and choosing Albania by Eden turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Martin, the owner, is simply fantastic. If I had to describe the experience in one word, it would be magical. Our journey took us through the highlights of Tirana, Elbasan, Berat Castle, vineyard and wine-tasting experiences, farm-to-table meals, Himarë, Porto Palermo Castle, the Gjirokastër Bazaar with its stunning castle views, a sunset boat tour, and a beautiful traditional lunch along the Vjosa River. Instead of taking the tunnel to the Albanian Riviera, Martin suggested the scenic Llogara Pass route. The breathtaking mountain views and unforgettable meal high above the coast made the drive to Himarë an experience in itself. One of the most memorable moments was visiting a hidden waterfall known mostly to locals. It is a place we never would have discovered on our own and easily became one of the highlights of our trip. The food throughout the journey was exceptional. We enjoyed authentic Albanian dishes featuring lamb, goat, local cheeses, olives, and other memorable meals that offered a genuine taste of the country and its culture. What truly sets Albania by Eden apart is Martin himself. Thoughtful, flexible, and deeply passionate about sharing Albania with his guests, he went above and beyond to make our trip special. I wanted to see as much of the country as possible, and he made it happen through creative planning, last-minute adjustments, and thoughtful surprises that made the experience feel personal and unforgettable. Having someone who speaks the language and understands the culture is invaluable. Martin is far more than a guide—he creates meaningful, unique experiences and genuinely cares about bringing joy to his clients. If you are considering a private tour in Albania, do not hesitate. This was far more than sightseeing; it was an unforgettable journey and a beautiful introduction to a country we completely fell in love with.

5.00Martin was outstanding. He was so kind, professional and knowledgeable. He is a testament to his profession from someone who does a lot of traveling and can distinguish excellence service. We used him twice and both times he went above and beyond. I would recommend to anyone.

5.00This is an awesome trip and experience. The sights are beautiful and the history, especially Butrint, is fascinating. This is not just a tour, but a bespoke journey with the benefits of Martin's local knowledge. The authentic coffee, food, wine and rakija are experienced with locals, not busloads of tourists. Meeting his in-laws and being welcomed into their home was a highlight of all our travels. Martin is an incredibly knowledgeable and gracious guide and became a good friend. We utilized his services for transfers, this trip and day trips. Highly recommend!
