Rainbow Ryders Hot Air Balloon
Rise early to begin your hot-air balloon experience. Stop into the office for check-in, then ride to the balloon launch site (which varies day-to-day depending on weather). Your pilot begins the process of inflating the balloon when you arrive. You can even help out the crew during the inflation process for a more hands-on experience. As you float high above the ground, enjoy incredible birds-eye views of the Rio Grande Valley. Your pilot determines the route for the day depending on the wind’s direction. You may fly over the city of Albuquerque and even dip low enough to wave at people or skim the Rio Grande River. Throughout your flight, your pilot shares informative commentary about the landscape beneath you. After approximately one hour in the air, your pilot lands the balloon and the ground crew comes to meet you. Celebrate your flight with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and a commemorative flight certificate before returning to the original starting point.

5.00We called the day before and there was room for us the next morning. My husband just grabbed the brochure from the hotel lobby. When we arrived and were checking in, my husband started talking to one of the pilots, Troy B. And he realized that he had flown with Troy 11 years ago!!!! What were the odds? We had a wonderful flight thanks to Troy, Alyssa and Elroy. I got to help inflate the balloon, and the crew were so easy to be with. We will definitely do this again when we are in the area and also recommend Rainbow Ryders!

5.00Highly recommend Rainbow Ryders. Our pilot Troy was very experienced and shared some of the records he has set in the hot air balloon world. Did this experience with my two teenage granddaughters in order to celebrate the oldest one's 16th birthday. They both loved it!

5.00Our pilot, Mike Heff and his crew, were amazing! I did not know what to expect and was hesitant. The ride was smooth and you don’t feel anything until you land. Mike is very skilled and an expert looking for all possibilities in the air and when we land. He looks to make sure there are no obstacles. The crew work so hard to not only get the balloon up but to meet up with us upon landing. They have to drive to several sites as we keep moving to find a new landing location. It is mental and physical work. I truly appreciate their skill and craft. Mike has a big responsibility looking at the weather snd foreseeing changes. I would definitely ride with Mike and his crew again. I highly recommend!

5.00As someone who doesn't like heights I would probably be someone who would just choose not to do this. I was determined to experience it and it was awesome. Such an incredible experience - it is hard to describe. Floating with just a balloon for lift is so different that going on a helicopter or small plane ride. Having the open air and wind in your face creates realism that can't be matched. Must do if in anywhere Rainbow Ryders has balloons.

5.00Excellent!!! Exciting adventure!!! The ride was smooth from the beginning to the end, thanks to Anthony and the crew. Beautiful sunrise and view of New Mexico. It was also fun to see the other colorful balloons going up at the same time. Did I mention the champagne toast...Awesome. I will definitely book with Rainbow 🌈Ryders again! Check off my bucket list!!!🤗🤗

5.00I was nervous when I booked this experience, but I knew I really wanted to do it. It was amazing. So beautiful and peaceful. Everything was organized from start to finish. Our pilot, Kris, and his crew were friendly and professional. I asked a lot of questions and all were answered with no issues. I would definitely do this again. Do it! You won't regret it.

5.00Gregg, Nick and Nicole were outstanding . Champagne toast symbolism was special. The view and flight plan was longer than expected and well worth it!
