5.00A profound and well-organized tour! Jane was a knowledgeable guide who provided a fascinating look into Canberra’s political history. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in the stories of Australian women and First Nations activists who pushed for change. It’s a lovely walking tour, great for solo travelers, and runs perfectly on schedule. I learned so much. Well worth the time!

5.00This was an awesome tour learning about the “invisible “ but accomplished women of Canberra. Eliza was an awesome guide - knowledgeable and also full of stories and context. Can highly recommend it. Easy walking for 2 hours.

5.00A joy to wander iconic locations of Canberra and learn so much about the impressive women of history who are so often unsung. Kate our tour guide was terrific, while Clancy my dog often misbehaved. But that's a badass for you.

5.00Jane provided a great introduction to some of the women who helped shape the nation, all while enjoying a leisurely stroll through the parliamentary triangle. Some interesting titbits were dropped, as we passed various buildings, and I'm keen to explore further on other walks.

5.00We had a great time on the Badass Women of Canberra Walking Tour. Our guide, the lovely Eleri was fantastic and the perfect mix of being informative, interesting and also a touch of humour. It never felt like a history "lecture". Our group began the tour with a limited knowledge of Women's contribution to Canberra and by the end of the tour we had a greater appreciation of the role Women played in Shaping Canberra. The stories shared brought a new perspective to people and places we had heard about but had not fully appreciated their contribution to shaping Canberra. She Shapes Hisory was willing to run the tour with a small number of participants. The advantage for us was that it made it easier to ask questions and communicate with each other. I look forward to doing more of their tours and highly recommend this company. I hope they soon expand to Brisbane!
