5.00My friend and I joined the Breweries of Bushwick tour over the summer and had a wonderful time learning about the neighborhood's history and sampling beer at newer breweries. James did a fabulous job connecting the neighbhorhood's history through the present day. As a previous resident of the neigbhorhood I learned more in the 2 1/2 hour tour than my almost 2 years living in Bushwick! James did a wonderful job answering our questions. Bushwick is a large neighorhood and I felt we covered a nice amount of ground while keeping the amount of walking accesible for those of varying fitness levels. If you enjoying learing about New York City history while sampling drinks, I highly recommend this experience!

5.00Celebrated my birthday with a brewery tour, and had the best time! James is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and personable, and the whole thing was organized really well, from the communication beforehand all the way through. We learned some fascinating neighborhood history and facts about beer production and distribution over the years, and got to visit 3 really good breweries. The highlight was our final stop at Eckhart Beer Co., really good brews and food. Thanks James, we are already making plans to go back to the spots we visited on the tour!
