During this 90-minute workshop, you’ll prepare traditional Belgian waffle dough, cook it, and then decorate your waffles with cream, chocolate, and seasonal fruits. No previous cooking experience is necessary, and kids are warmly welcome. After a short introduction, we’ll go through the recipe, split into teams, and start cooking. We provide everything: all ingredients, cooking gear, waffle irons, a demonstration, and assistance. Feel free to make the craziest topping combinations and take pictures! Every participant will receive a complimentary drink to enjoy with his/her waffles ;-)

5.00Such a fun time! Elliott led our class. We had a short intro about different types of waffles and then learned how to make the Brussel Belgium waffles. Each group of 2 or 3 got to make their own batch of batter, cook them and eat them. Many of toppings were provided to please the entire group. Elliott was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time!

5.00This was a great class with lots of waffles. They had over 5 syrups, fruit, and over 10 other toppings for the waffles. We learned about the history of waffles and followed a recipe. We enjoyed eating our waffles and won a tote bag at the end!

3.00Although this workshop is a 25 min walk from the center of town it was doable but not well marked. The instructor had all of the ingredients pot. We watched a video about different types of waffles for maybe 15 minutes then started to follow the printed recipe. We were asked to work in teams of 2. It was ok but not too exciting even for the kids to stir batter. The only hard part was separating the white of the egg from the yolk and ther wa no instructions from our”teacher”. We used a waffle iron the same as you see in a Hampton in or Eurosuites motel. We were given a variety of things to put on th waffles (2 waffles each) then we eat them and left. It was not terrible and our instructor was nice enough and brought a drink to the table, but honestly we could have skipped this to do another event somewhere else in the city and would not have missed anything. It was ok but not great time investment of almost 2 hours.

5.00What a wonderful way to start the day. Learned about the different types of waffles, and then they made it so easy to make them. Lots of toppings, lots of ways to enjoy them. I would definitely recommend this experience for anyone coming to Bruges.

5.00Great experience and Viator sent me high value able information prior and during my waffle experience. Clean, all the instruments and ingredients ready to cook - family or friends activity for sure. Kaya the chef was amazing !!!
