Szent Istvan Bazilika
You will visit the impressive Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). It has many statues and frescoes, as well as the mummified right hand of the first king. The church is open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.

5.00Dalia was a great guide. We asked her to share the history of Hungary/Budapest along with the sights in our all day tour. Her historical knowledge was very deep. She also shared with us the contemporary culture of Budapest. It was a wonderful mix. We not only saw a lot, we learned a lot. Our family of six, with four adult children, really enjoyed the tour. We highly recommend Dalia and the tour.

5.00Beata tailored a marvelous tour for me in Budapest showing me both tourist highlights and insights to everyday life. She is extremely knowledgeable about historic sites and conveys information with just the right amount of detail to make the experience meaningful. She covered all of my requests from buying spices in the market, admiring Herend porcelain, riding trams & subways, visiting an important synagogue & churches (seeing a wedding in progress), touring the Jewish quarter, explaining street art to enjoying an authentic Hungarian lunch and a lovely sidewalk cafe. She openly shared information about her family as well as political and cultural viewpoints. My tour with her was a major highlight of a 14-day river cruise and a very good value compared to excursions offered by the river tour company. This was my 4th trip to Budapest and Beata made it my best experience in her beautiful city.

5.00We had a private tour with me and my parents. Alexandra was our guide and Atilla was our driver. Alexandra was an amazing guide who organized our tour flawlessly based around our specific requests. There is no way we could have seen as much of Budapest as we did otherwise. Additionally, she provided very interesting historical information about each of the sites and was genuinely helpful answering our questions. If you are traveling with people who have mobility issues, I highly recommend this private tour with car. And for a private tour, the price is very reasonable. Having a tour catered to your very specific tastes and needs creates a very personalized and memorable experience that is difficult to get with a group tour. Atilla was a great and attentive driver, helping my parents get in and out of the car. He was a very safe driver and had the car ready whenever we needed it. Thank you Alexandra and Atilla for the wonderful experience.

5.00We were able to experience a wonderful day with Monika. We were picked up at the hotel at 9:30 AM and returned around 5:30 PM. Monika's tour was very informative and interesting. She showed us the main sights of Budapest and provided both well-founded historical and current information about each one. The process and organization were such that we never felt rushed. There was even time for a short lunch break with delicious goulash soup by the Danube. We covered longer distances either by subway or tram, making everything very relaxed. In summary, the tour with Monika was very successful, and we would like to sincerely thank her again for this wonderful day. We can highly recommend a tour with Monika.

His abundant knowledge and love of the city in which he grew up was evident in the way he guided us always making sure that we saw everything we wanted to see always tailoring the experience to our needs. He went over and above our expectations and made today one of the most memorable days of our current tour.

5.00Alexa was amazing! She had wonderful patience with two slow seniors! And made sure we saw everything we wanted to see with a minimum of stairs and standing. Walking for me is difficult, and she knew of easy access for most locations. Her knowledge of the city's and country's history was remarkable and she made it so interesting! Her commentary was fabulous. Her gentle demeanor and sense of humor put us at ease immediately and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our day. I especially appreciated the extra effort she took to make sure I was able to access elevators and easier pathways. Whether you have mobility or other disabilities, Alexa made sure we had a delightful day with unforgettable sights and history. Current and past culture and politics were explained in a way so we were able to understand the facts as well as the inuendo of the political and cultural times this city and country have survived and overcome. Over all, this was a day we will remember! I strongly recommend Alexa and this one day tour. Barb
