This chef-guided market tour takes a journey through Pacific Northwest culture by tasting Seattle’s best artisan vendors in the famous Pike Place Market. Enjoy diverse tastings at 9 different locations— and food options like chocolate covered cherries, chowder, and much more. All groups are kept to 12 guests to ensure easier navigation of the market, more tastings, and a better platform to ask questions and interact with the group. Leave with a 10% discount card to shop and explore after the tour.
*Note that tours stops may adjust depending on time of year and guide.
This is a walking tour that does require a moderate amount of physical fitness due to distance, small hills, stairs and cobblestone terrain.
This is a market tour that includes walking/standing and not a restaurant tour with a variety of food alternatives and sitting opportunities.

Meeting Location: is 1600 First Ave outside of Simply Seattle. We meet on the street. Chef will be wearing a chef coat

Please arrive 10 minutes early. Once the tour leaves the starting point we cannot catch you up as it is a moving tour and guides choose their own routes.
Eat Seattle is permitted and licensed by the Pike Place Market PDA to operate tours in the Pike Place Historical District. The PDA requires any business or person conducting tours within it’s properties and in the public areas of the historical district to be pre-approved and to have a license for this activity.
There is a paid parking garage located at 1531 Western Ave. If you require parking, leave lots of extra time. The lot could be closed due to over capacity in the Summer. We don't recommend driving for this reason..

We meet outside of Simply Seattle located at 1600 First Ave. That's First Ave and Pine Street. The tour leaves right on time and we won't be able to catch you up if you're late. If you're driving, leave lots of extra time to park.

5.00Sylas was a great tour guide. He had great energy throughout the whole tour. We got to taste a wide variety of things. Definitely recommend if you want to check out the market which can be overwhelming if you try to do it on your own.

5.00Will was an awesome tour guide/chef showing us around Pike’s Place Market! Interesting stories and facts and really delicious food! There were 10 stops and we were stuffed by the end. The stops included some really popular spots that had huge lines, so this was a fantastic way to skip the line and try the best. The ice cream, chocolate, Mac & Cheese, Jamaican pies and tacos were a few of our favorite items. Highly recommend!

5.00I went to Seattle on my first real vacation that was just for me, and being from a tourist town, I wasn't too interested in typical tourist fare. I picked this as my one guided tour during my trip and it was an absolute delight. Chef Rob Bob was an amazing tour guide who grew up and worked in Pike Place, which made the tour feel more like getting to know Seattle and its locals rather than simply being entertained. Chef Noah was a great support as well, sharing information and taking questions while Chef Rob Bob spoke to the vendors to get our sample foods. The price was well worth the food alone, but the extra information also helped me plan other stops on my trip. If you're going to be spending a few days in Seattle and you're a foodie, I highly recommend taking this tour; you might have trouble deciding which vendor you'll visit for your meals, but you'll know you're going to Pike Place. Two hours and nine samples of food was all it took to convince that if I ever win the lottery, I'm moving to downtown Seattle and exploring Pike Place to my heart's content.

5.00We did a family food tour with Chef Rob Bob, it was awesome! Chef Rob Bob was local, very knowledgeable of the market and it was special to see how connected he was with so many people. He was an excellent guide and was great with our nine year old who actually tried everything and loved many of the items. It was a lot of food and fun to see so many vendors and try so many things. This was my second tour with Eat Seattle and I will be back. Thanks Chef Rob Bob!
