with the help of the hosts and cooks Patrizia and Giuliana, mother and doughter, author of a recent culinary book, you will discover how to prepare typical sicilian dishes, working around our table outside among several giant olive trees. It is the chance to know more about the culture and history in Sicily, because Patrizia is a guide as well, and a passionate woman on history and locale traditions. Her doughter Giuliana Is a Chef who combines the Sicilian culinary tradition with other influences, since She has been travelling around the world. Guests will prepare a menu, sourrended by Nature and an incredibile landscape and view on the Sea, so they have lunch also looking at the mediterranean sea and the Aeolian Isles.
The course is for that a complete sensorial experience, a perfect combination between good food and wines, nature, view, sea, olive trees, history and local traditions. What would you desire more?

In Private option, far away from the crowd and noise of the cities, you will be immersed in the beauty of the Sicilian countryside, full of centuries-old olive trees and fruit trees, 500 meters above the sea with a splendid view of the Mediterranean sea and the Aeolian islands. The course takes place in the open air enjoying the panorama and flavors of the Sicilian land our guests are always welcomed with a welcome drink made of good Sicilian wine, white or red, and then participate around a table among centuries-old olive trees in the preparation of a typical menu, also collecting products from the garden and using only local ingredients. it is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the relaxing life of the countryside and the hills, looking at our wonderful sea and preparing to prepare typical dishes, while tasting local delicacies.

5.00Our Cooking Class in a CountryHouse near Cefalu was outstanding. Our host, Patrizia, is more than cordial, an accomplished chef, welcoming and very accommodating. Want to participate, participate. Want to watch, watch. The Country House was wonderfully located half way up the mountain with a spansive view right down to the sea. Every angle was breathtaking. Cook a bit, have some wine, check out the view, rinse and repeat. Insights provided not only to the Sicilian food but the culture as well. It was an outstanding investment in time and funds. Not only is the host most competent in the kitchen but she is kind as well. My wife was experiencing some minor medical concerns and Patrizia went well out of her way to make sure she was accommodated. A very fine lady. We are most grateful to have met.

5.00Being in the country overlooking the sea was wonderful. The cooking instruction was extremely good and useful. The food was fantastic. Patrizia, our cooking instructor was charming and entertaining, easy to understand.
Amazing Sicilian cooking experience

5.00I had the most wonderful and authentic experience cooking with Patrizia in her country house. The house is so charming and has the most amazing view of surrounding mountains and the sea. I learnt how to prepare Caponata, which is must in Sicilian cooking; simple yet so delicious. We then proceeded to prepare a pasta sauce and some fish, as well as canoli for dessert. I will cherish this experience forever and looking forward to recreate the recipes.

5.00What a wonderful experience with Patrizia in Reitano! Her home was beautiful and our family enjoyed cooking with her. The food and conversation was amazing! Our daughters, ages 11 and 17, enjoyed it so much. They are excited to cook Pasta Norma when we return home to California!

5.00My daughter, friends and I just returned from Sicily. One of the highlights was taking a cooking class with Patrizia. The class was in the countryside of Reitano. I felt like we were on a movie set, it was so beautiful. The kitchen setting was outdoors. The weather was perfect. Patrizia had great music playing in the background with wine being poured as we prepared lunch. A variety of cheese was put out to munch on. We made a variety of Sicilian dishes that were so delicious. We bought her cookbook and apron to bring home. I keep looking at my pictures as they are so beautiful. Definitely worth the money!

5.00My wife and I joined Patrizia at her home in Palermo for a Sicilian cooking experience. Top down our favorite experience during our week in Sicily. It felt like we were not taking a class rather experiencing an afternoon with an old friend. The wine was flowing and the food was fabulous. We are looking forward to the countryside experience our next trip there!
