We’ll start near the Church of Saint Fortunatus, strolling through the surrounding area and exploring the charming streets of the neighborhood. Along the way, you’ll get a feel for local life before reaching our first stop, where you’ll enjoy a tasting of traditional local charcuterie, perfectly paired with a glass of excellent regional wine, a delicious introduction to the flavors of the area.
Arco Etrusco
We’ll begin by admiring the Arco Etrusco, one of Perugia’s most impressive ancient landmarks, before properly entering the historic town center. From there, we’ll continue our walk through the streets of the city and stop to enjoy one of the most typical Perugian street food dishes, the beloved torta al testo.

5.00Francesca was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We learned some new information about Perugia while also meeting some of the small business owners who offer their delicious food items. The portions were extremely generous (some of the group had difficulty finishing), and the items were varied so as to give us a sense of typical foods/products of Umbria. Although there were only 8 of us, the group was very lively, which would be challenging for some to manage on a walking tour with scheduled stops, but Francesca made it all flow beautifully. Highly recommend!

5.00Stefano was all you can hope for in a tour guide. His knowledge of food, wine, history and culture were impressive and made for an excellent experience for an evening in Perugia. We left with our stomachs full of amazing food and a new friend. A must do when visiting this gem of a City.

5.00Our guide, Stefano, was fantastic! We booked the group tour but it ended up being private because it was just us! Stefano was so enthusiastic and friendly and we had great fun learning about food, Italy and Perugia. The food was all extremely tasty and the stops were varied. Thank you!!

5.00It was filled with not only good food but an ongoing conversation with Stefano, a very well-informed and very entertaining man. We had a wide variety of historical and local insights. It was fun and filling and was easily able to accommodate vegetarians! All in all a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

5.00Stefano was incredible! His love of Umbria and it’s cuisine was infectious and he made the evening so fun! This will for sure be one of the highlights of our trip, don’t hesitate- book it!
