Did the Forest Park gravel tour this week with my husband and son. My husband and I are experienced road cyclists and our adult son has not been on a bike in a decade. Both the carbon gravel bikes and the e-bikes we were used were in great condition. Our tour guide Kurt was very knowledgeable, and we also were fortunate to have Charlotte and Jay along for added commentary and safety. We enjoyed the stories of the city along the way and the beauty of nature in the park. Good to have the best of both worlds. The ride was moderately challenging and had a few hills. One section leaving the park had a pretty significant descent that did make me a bit nervous. Overall, though, the three of us with our varied experience levels had an excellent time and we would recommend this tour to others. ( We actually already have!) We will be back for more when we come back to the city:

Such an awesome experience riding through Forest Park with Cycle Portland. The Giant Revolt carbon gravel bikes were high end, light and fast. I learned a ton about Portland from our guide!

We were a small group but it was a great experience! With Pierce as our guide we traveled up and down hills, thru neighborhoods, over bridges and thru Forest Park. A wonderful day for a bike ride! Pierce rode his non-electric bike and I was very thankful for the E-bike I was given!

I went on the Forest Park Tour being a newbie into the Portland area and MAN! Is this a fantastic way to see the amazing forest park & the surrounding Portland area! The tour was excellently guided by the store manager who has over 10+ years of bicycle touring experience and it shows. The tour was a great mix of sections of history, going slow through the park, and enjoying the speed of the park. All at well timed out sections. There is plenty of soaking in the views & zooming through the park if you so wish. The company itself is also dedicated to helping the local community with a donation wall for the less fortunate & ran by an excellent husband and wife duo. If you are looking to see the wilderness, city, and support a GREAT local business you have to check out this place! You will not be disappointed!
