Incredibly nice vessel, very modern, clean, quiet and smooth! Best cruise tour ship I’ve had the pleasure of being on.

This RIB boat excursion is a must do. It was so much fun. The waters were choppy so it made the experience even more exciting. The sun was out made it the best weather for the views of the coast of Kristiansand. I’m glad I booked this. Well done.

Was a pleasant trip, the boat was a little crowded, but overall met our expectation of seeing some beautiful views. Viaror tours always meet expectations

The boat ride up Lysefjord was spectacular, despite the threatening weather. Drinks and snacks were available onboard, the restrooms were clean, and the indoor seating area had expansive windows and monitors showing the view from the bow of the boat, as well as charts of the boat’s progress, so you won’t feel like you are missing out if you choose to skip whatever weather Norway is serving up outdoors. Through “Norway in a Nutshell” we combined the fjord cruise with a bus link to Pulpit Rock Cabin (the base camp for the hike up Pulpit Rock), and another bus ride back to Stavanger. All connections worked flawlessly.

Overall a pretty underwhelming experience. A 3.5 hour cruise, we thought that it would be 3.5 hours on the fjord, lots and lots of attractions/waterfalls/etc. Perhaps we should have researched better somehow – but it turns out it is a 1.5 hour cruise on the fjord, with an hour’s ocean travel each way to get to the fjord. That hour each way is pretty boring. And then even within the fjord, there were really only 2 ‘main’ attractions and 2 minor ones. And even the main attractions are nothing much. One is: the boat momentarily pulls up in a little nook of the fjord, the other is a distant underneath view of Pulpit Rock. Minor ones are pull up at the bank so a crew member can feed a goat, the other is a waterfall at the turning point. Boat was totally full though not claustrophobic because of it. The boat is quiet (its electric) and smooth, so no problem there. Not a lot of forward viewing areas, and this would be a problem on a sunny day. So in 3.5 hours we had about 5 minutes of attractions total, plus a cruise along a fjord. If it is the first fjord you’ve ever seen it is probably majestic but once you’ve seen a few this was nothing special. And you are stuck with an hour’s overhead each way. No food is provided and the café on board has packaged pastries and other packaged snacks, and machine coffee. If you have the 10 or 12 noon cruise you have better bring your own lunch. I think there are better ways to spend your time in Stavanger as an overseas visitor.

Nice boat and service. Does not cover too much and does not provide too much details or history of the region and other things. But does take you to the cave, pulpit rock and waterfall so you can get great views of these things.

Amazing views. Gentle cruise. Exceptional staff. Preikestolen and the waterfall were underwhelming. Having captain feed the goats was a super fun surprise.

The boat is particularly comfortable with enough space both inside and out to take in the beautiful surroundings. The trip takes about 3.5 hours and gives you value for money.

The views were amazing, however, they loaded too many people on the boat and we mostly stood for the entire 3.5 hours. The number of people allowed on each trip out should be limited. It was disappointing because I’d booked it several months ago, and no priority was provided by choosing early rather than same day.
