Exciting trekking up Mount Tezio, one of the most evocative places in the Perugia area. We will reach the magnificent summit meadows of this mountain, at almost 1000 meters above sea level, with breathtaking views of Lake Trasimeno, Perugia and all of Umbria. We will walk on the remains of a 3000-year-old village and discover medieval snow pits. A magnificent tour between history and nature... The itinerary is circular and develops mostly on mountain paths, with short portions on dirt roads. Medium difficulty trekking, length about 8 km, difference in altitude about 500 m.

The hike was relaxing with amazing views over the Umbria region. We could also see the snowy peaks of Apennine (we visited in the beginning of May). Our guide, Alessio, spoke good english even if he said otherwise before our meeting. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I would totally recommend him for this kind of tour.

A special trekking, Alessio always manages to surprise with unique itineraries full of a story to tell. You walk together and enjoy the spectacle of nature respecting everyone's times... I assure you that it is not so obvious.
