  Our tour in Olden began with a guide who would not answer polite questions. He walked away from me and my 3 friends twice while we were still talking to him. When trying to speak with him about it he was disrespectful and defensive. He gave us faulty information about trolley cars that he said would be available to us (older adults) to be able to view the glacier, which was the main attraction of the tour. We were not able to obtain seats on the trolley as they required advance arrangement. We spent half of the tour sitting in the coffee shop and were unable to participate. When he returned from the glacier I informed him that advance booking was required for the trolley was required so that he would know for future tourists. He again was extremely rude and disrespectful. I am very disappointed in my experience today and am not likely to book another tour with this company. The guide was articulate and knowledgeable while speaking on the bus ride but would benefit greatly from training in customer relations. Active listening would be a good starting point.

• GREAT way to tour Flam

  We LOVED this tour. The bus was easy to find and we saw amazing scenery. We even stopped at an adorable town and had delicious baked goods. The best part of the tour was our guide, Friedo. He was funny and informative. THANKS from Ellen, Mark, Zoe and Shane! (Shane loves his pic of the two of you!)

• Best option for a Cruise Stop in Flam

  Even better than expected. This tour was so much for scenic than I thought it would be. It is a lot of time on the bus, but we stopped so many great places. Perfect excursion for a cruise stop. Wished we had more time at the stave church, but since the drive is so long, I understand why that's not an option. Would 100% do again!

  

  

  

• Nice mountain ride

  Despite the rainy day, each stop was enjoyable and the scenery in between was gorgeous! The ride over the mountains offered a unique look at the rugged scenery above the treeline complete with wandering sheep. Our tour guide was helpful and informative. I recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a high altitude look at the fjord and the surrounding countryside.

  

  

  

• Do not take this trip

  Do not take this tour. The bus arrived late. At the first stop, we only were able to see the stave church from outside a fenced area for a few minutes. On the way to the next stop, the bus was stopped at an inspection station and we waited for over 45 minutes. The bus was cited for a leak and the trip derailed. Eventually we took a cab to make it back to Flam in time for our transportation to Bergen. The operator only will give us a partial refund, saying we saw the first half of the trip.

• A few rough spots, but definitely worth the views!!

  Pick up was a bit late and confusing as to which bus was ours.... thankfully some other tour groups there were able to help everyone and reassure us. But once on the road, we were happy with our tour guide and what we got to see. She was new (first tour), but did a great job. We did have bus issues (leaking fluid found during routine traffic control check) that delayed us, but for us it was not a big deal. The only other comment was that we thought we'd get to go inside the Borglund Stave church, not just walk around the outside - that could have been made a bit clearer. Otherwise, it was good - we enjoyed it all!

  The tour guide was brilliant. She was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip, and provided plenty of interesting facts. She was lovely. The stops were enough time to have a Quick Look around, a leg stretch and some photos, but not so long you were having around waiting to get going again.

• Untrustworthy and ruined day

  Viator charged me for four tickets (what I asked for). My app said 4 tickets but when we got to the bus for the excursion Viator had told them I cancelled one and only had 3 seats. The bus was was full and the operator told me that they weren’t leaving till I got off the bus. The operator (excursions4u) was very rude and gave no care I had nothing for my day in Norway. Will NEVER use again.

  Seeing the fjiords from a different perspective. Snow and water at the top of Stegastein, as well as the over look.

  Our guide (female from Patagonia) was very well informed and shared history and cultural knowledge with us. Being driven through the longest vehicle tunnel in the world was exciting and appreciate the challenges to living in a mountain area. Was disappointed not to be able to get into the grounds surrounding the Stave Church let alone the church itself. Felt rushed at our beautiful scenic stops and realize the number of tourists (buses and cars) on the narrow roads made it necessary in order to return to the ship on time. (We took the 1 p.m. trip, suggest you go earlier to avoid this.) Being above the snow line and seeing the snow and the crystal clear snow-melt ponds was so refreshing. My 4th trip to Norway and I continue to plan my next one.
