FlyOver Iceland utilizes state-of-the-art technology to give you the feeling of flight. Hang suspended, feet dangling, before a 20-metre spherical screen while being whisked away on an exhilarating journey across Iceland. Special effects, including wind, mist and scents complete this unforgettable experience. Gently thrilling ride for the whole family.

Located in Reykjavík’s Grandi neighborhood, FlyOver Iceland is easily accessible by foot, car or bus, and features complimentary parking on-site. Inside, there’s a retail area selling local artisan items and souvenirs, as well as Kaffi Grandi, which serves a variety of warm beverages and local fare. Elevators are available and FlyOver Iceland can accommodate wheelchair users.

As the country’s only flying ride, FlyOver Iceland takes guests on exhilarating journeys over the world’s most spectacular scenery — from the American West to the Canadian Rockies and across some of Iceland’s most iconic sites — all without leaving Reykjavík. Using advanced technology, we capture thrilling, authentic footage of real locations so guests can experience those places as they truly are. The flight ride experience is extended with a pre-show that brings guests deeper into the film, Kaffi Grandi, which serves Icelandic fare, and a retail area selling local souvenirs.

This was such an informative and entertaining experience, and our whole family absolutely enjoyed it. It is a great 30-minute way to learn a lot about Iceland's history and folklore, and of course, taking the incredible ride flying over the country's many beautiful landscapes is unforgettable. It truly feels like you are soaring!

It's an unbelievable experience. Words cannot describe it but worse full you if you do not give this a try. You will definitely not regret it.

The show was really great. The problem was the QR code said it was for two tickets but the email received from Trip Advisor only had one QR code. A little bit of an argument ensued and they finally gave up and let both of us in. I don't know how they fixed the issue neither do I care but would have given this five star had this not happened.

A very special experience where you really get the feeling of flying in a smaller aircraft. If you came near a waterfall, you could feel tiny drops of water in the air. Near a volcano, you could smell lava, or whatever it was. It tickles my stomach a lot from time to time. Everything is very professionally done!

This is just like Disney Epcot’s Soarin. 20 minutes spent watching a movie about Iceland winters and some Troll lore (kinda hokey). 10 minute flying over Iceland. Very beautiful and a lot of fun. However it doesn’t get 5 stars because not once do you fly over a volcano or “see” any lava. This is extremely disappointing. They should update the experience immediately!

We loved this experience! It was a great virtual way to see so many parts of Iceland that we didn't get to experience. It has such a vast array of landscapes that it was wonderful to see so many!

FLY OVER ICELAND features realistic virtual scenery which changes seasons magically. It has the feel of actually soaring like an eagle or sea gull. It should not to be recommended to those susceptible to air-sickness or vertigo from fear of heights.

So good, I was very impressed with the quality and overall experience. It felt like I was part of the world. The smells and vapor through out the experience, added a lot to the total enjoyment.

he attraction was good, but the service needs improvement. The website said they had a free shuttle, but when I arrived, they told me the last one was at 15:15, and the 15:00 show ended 15 minutes after that time, so keep that in mind if you're going to the 15:00 show or late. Also, I bought the ticket when I got there, but when I checked online, since it was Tuesday, there was a 2000 ISK discount for online purchases. I think that's a significant discount, so it's hard to believe the ticket office didn't tell me about it before I bought the ticket there. I mentioned it to one of the salesperson, and they just shrugged. The visual aspect is very nice but the experience is not worth the almost $50 USD (5990 ISK) it costs.
