1.00Guided Works Limited, the company conducting my tour, was horrendous. They advertised a private tour of the Palace, with 6 people maximum and a shuttle. They showed up over a hour late and in the wrong location for the shuttle. They overbooked the tour, so it wasn’t private. The tour guide didn’t even guide us - he told us to explore the grounds ourselves. We didn’t get a single word of commentary from him on the grounds or within the palace, he waited by the car. We were given barely enough time to hustle through one of the wings before the shuttle was supposed to leave. Versailles is incredible, I’d recommend going, just not with this company.
