The Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River is HEAVY ON SCENERY, WITH SOME FUN SMALL RAPIDS, depending on the water level and time of year. This is an area where many motion pictures and commercials have been filmed over the years. John Wayne and John Ford filmed a lot of old westerns in this area. Recently filmed in this area was The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in 2013. More recently, HBO's Westworld, season 1, which premiered in 2016.

From the meeting point, you will be transported up Hwy 128 (Top 10 most scenic highways in America) to Hittle Bottom, approximately 25 miles. This will take 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic and other circumstances.

5.00Really enjoyed the rafting. Excellent and very kind guide (Wes) took us on a really enjoyable day out on the waters. We were with two boats on the river and did not came across any others. Pleasant company all along the day, with a nice pick nick as well.

5.00This was a spectacular experience, and I highly recommend adding water activity to this otherwise arid landscape. Pre-boarding the transportation was clear and efficient. The shuttle bus ride was safe and clean. But the star of the show was the river and canyon country of course! Our guide, Claire, brought the entire experience alive. She shared gems of information about geology, local history, and her personal favorite experiences in the region. She was very clear when it was safe for us to swim in the river and when to return to the boat. Lunch was also set up quickly and hit the spot. If you can request Claire as your guide, you will be rewarded. At the time we rafted the river, the current was relatively slow and the water level was low. As a result, the whitewater was Class I-III and very manageable for inexperienced rafters. If you are going to spend day hiking Arches or Canyonlands, cool off in the Colorado River on the second day. Your body will thank you.

5.00The views on this trip were incredible! We do float trips back home in Missouri, but to get to do a rafting trip through the canyons, was amazing! The views were amazing, the water was refreshing, and the rapids were fun for us and our kids (ages 10 and 12).

5.00I highly recommend this tour and Adrift! We did the full day raft trip in the middle of our Aches week - it was a wonderful way to take a break from hiking but still explore the beauty of the area. The staff was fantastic. Shout out to our guide Wes: he was engaging, fun, professional and we were in good hands. He was an "equal opportunity" guide, ensuring both the front and back of the raft got the wet rapids experience. So fun. There are several outfitters in Moab. I am very happy that I chose Adrift and if we're ever back in the area would select them again. And if you are wondering if you should take the full or half day - take the full day!

5.00We had the BEST time on the full day raft trip though Fisher Towers. The views were stunning. We saw great blue heron, big horn sheep, a bald eagle, and a fox with prey in its mouth. All of the guides are very knowledgeable and clearly enjoy their jobs, but you're especially lucky if you're placed with Porsche! Her fun-loving spirit, knowledge and expert handling of the boat, kids, and splash war dynamics, really made the trip a solid 10 out of 10.

5.00This was an absolute blast and a highlight of my family's trip. Porsche was a perfect guide for us, sharing interests with me, my wife and 12 and 9yos.--just a chill, adventurous, and skilled person, totally in control.

3.00The THREE STAR review should have been a 5! The guides our family had on the fischer towers full day trip were absolutely exceptional! They truly deserve a ten star review! From knowledge of the surrounding area to knowledge about their boats they had me in awe all day. The rapids were delightful (not too scary but definitely splashy)!! The main reason for the THREE STAR review is because of the guy at the front, myke. Myke was great over the phone and we had an easy time booking, however as soon as we arrived at Adrift Adventures he was short with me and my family and seemed to not want to even be there himself. Not only that but the way he shouted at the raft guides, and ushered us onto the bus felt rushed and UNFRIENDLY. When we arrived back at Adrift Adventures after our beautiful serene day on the river, we were met with the same attitude we received in the morning. And when i went to ask my guide a question or two after we got off the bus, he began yelling at our guide to get back to work! Honestly as far as knowledge of the area and ability to row, these guides are the best of the best! However if you attitude from the guy in the front, book now!

5.00My boyfriend and I had an absolute blast with Claire as our river rafting tour guide. Not only is she a lot of fun to be around, but she also has a lot of knowledge about the area and fun stories to share.

5.00Full day rafting tour. Excellent tour with a great guide called Turner. We all got to ride the bull and got soaking wet! Great day and would definitely recommend.

5.00Today my family and I went on a full day rafting tour of the Colorado River. We had a great time floating down the river and learning about the environment around us. Our guide, John, was very nice and experienced as well. We would highly recommend this trip to others looking for a fun day in the river.
