Wat Chedi Sao Lang
A short distance from Lampang, set amid farms and rice fields, is Wat Chedi Sao. The name literally means "the Temple of Twenty Chedis" and one look at the 20 pagodas in the temple courtyard makes it easy to understand the origin of the name. But the wát’s real treasure is a solid-gold, 15th-century seated Buddha on display in a glassed-in pavilion, built over a square pond

We had an excellent tour of Lampang with Wit! We got to visit some temples, eat a local lunch, and do some shopping at the ceramic shops. Wit was very knowledgeable about the history of every area we visited. He spoke excellent English and was so kind. We highly recommend taking a tour with him especially if you want a truly local experience!!
