  Worst experience ever. The seating arrangement was very cramped, with very limited legroom and insufficient headroom in the back row, causing significant discomfort throughout the journey. Despite all guests paying the same price, seat allocation felt unfair, with some passengers reserving preferred seats by throwing their bags during boarding without intervention from staff. When concerns were raised, the response from the tour guide Kate was disappointing and lacked empathy. Overall, the experience fell well below the standard expected for a professionally organized tour. Even brought the matter to the tour company but was not useful. They just lie saying all seats are same which is not true.

  Wear your walking shoes. Our guide Kate was the best. She explained everything. From the falls, to balloon launch, to Juifen and the Yehliu Geo Park, worth the time and all the walking. Highly recommend this tour!

  This tour was a fantastic introduction to all the spectacular places around Taipei. Our guide James has initially kept the schedule very tight which has allowed us to spend some nice time at the end of the day enjoying a lovely cup of Oolong tea in a tea-house overlooking the hills around Jiufen. James was a great tour guide taking care of us in every way from booking the tea house to advising us on food to eat, tea to drink. And the lantern experience was so special it will stay as a wonderful memory of this trip. Totally recommended but be prepared to be active.

• Pan Chen Bobo is a bad guide, don't let him be your guide anymore

  The tour guide Pan Chen, Bobo, is an irresponsible tour guide. I lost my way in nine cases, already called 30 minutes before the gathering to notify Pan Xian that I was lost, and also told me that I was standing in that position. Because my language is bad, I found two of your company's tour guides to help me call Pan's tour guide, he initially asked me to go to the gathering place, but I was lost, how could I know how to gather the place? Later he said he would come for me, but I waited 15 minutes and he hasn’t come yet. And the other two guides are gone, I made a hard call to Pan's guide in a bad language, but he said he was back in the car, waiting to drive. He asked me to go find him myself. How can I? Later my two family ran from the car to find me, but on the way he kept calling me asking where I was, he didn't wait for me, he said he was driving, but I said I was running around, he was still constantly intimidating me saying he was going to drive away from me, so irresponsible guide, not looking after the travellers, still constantly intimidating, it's amazing. Also, we arranged 5:30 to return to Taipei Railway Station, but he gave us an hour's tour in Woo Liu, from 2:50 to 3:50 to go back to Taipei, to Taipei Station was only 4:30, enough an hour early, which made us lose 1 hour of travel time. Moreover, he kept calling us to give him a tip when he returned, it was unpleasant to meet him, I also participated in the same activity in March this year, at the time there was a very pleasant experience, that guide before was good, helped us to take photos, follow us to introduce the attractions, and also never opened a call for us to give a tip, this Pan guide is really unknown. Hopefully your company strictly look at the attitude of this guide, when the guest has something special, he must take care of the guest. I'm not a person who can't make a joke, but because I lost my way in nine cases, and I already notified him 30 minutes before the gathering, he also promised to come to me, but didn't come, and kept telling me to go to him myself, go to find his car, and still kept scaring me to drive away and not wait for me, so how to do a guide?

  We had a tremendously fun and memorable experience with our small group tour. Our tour guide Johnny was excellent and fun loving. He catered to our needs and provided wonderful service. He joked around and made the tour really enjoyable. He drove and took us to all the sites listed and showed us the best spots for pictures, even offered each of us a nonalcoholic drink of our choice, took pictures for each of our group at selected spots and gave us some free time before going on to the next destination. We took the later (12pm) tour which allowed us to see Old Jiufen streets during daylight when we first arrived and then later during night time. We were able to see both perspectives of the famous A-mei teahouse, photo during the day and then the magical photo of it being lit up by red lanterns in the dark. It was amazing to see. There were some streets with a lot of dragonflies after dark so be ready to make sure you have insect repellent on or they will come at you. Finally our tour guide Johnny was very thoughtful and gave us choice of being dropped off at the Raoke night market as scheduled or at the Taipei main central station for those who just want take train back to their hotels. We highly recommend this tour because you get to explore some of the highlights of Taipei that you will not regret. Five stars.
