  Together with my friend I had such a special experience at Garcetti, a new home cooking format in Tuscany that made us feel welcomed like part of the family 💚 The day started with an NCC tour through the shops and local botteghe of Pisa, discovering genuine ingredients recommended by their nonna to prepare authentic Italian recipes 👵🏼 Then the best part came: cooking together, literally getting our hands “dirty” with flour and learning how to make fresh pasta in the traditional way.🍝 It was actually my very first real experience with traditional recipes, and it was so beautiful to try something completely new! The girls were amazing: they truly created an authentic, warm, and unforgettable experience. Behind every single detail you can feel how much love, care, and passion there is in this project✨ The result? A day spent with no worries in a comfortable atmosphere, drinking fine wine and eating true Italian cuisine. What else? 🤌🍷

  We met Chiara on a previous visit and fell in love with her. So when we contacted her before this visit for some pointers on things to do, her question was what types of things are you interested in. As the couple we were traveling with are total foodies, we were interested in some real cooking classes and the best local places to eat. So when Chiara told us about their cooking experience with her Nonna, we were all in. Chiara, Maria Giulia, and Nonna shared some food prep methods that had come down from the family through Nonna. The experience was not only educational, but really fun. After some assembly, we were served in a lovely setting. The ladies joined us for a wonderful meal and an extension of a wonderful time. We left that evening feeling like we were family. Truly we had many wonderful eating experiences in Tuscany. This was by far the best.

  We first met Chiara when she was our driver on a trip in October, 2025. We became instant friends. So when we returned to Italy in May we made sure to schedule her cooking class in Pisa. It will always be a highlight of all of Italy. One thing you will discover when you meet Maria Julia and Chiara is that they delight in their lives! They are enthusiastic about everything! We had a hands on lesson in Italian cuisine with their Nonna standing by to help us. We learned the secrets of homemade pasta, the correct way to serve many courses, and that at their table the wine never stops flowing! Treat yourself to an authentic experience in Pisa… and it’s true: there’s much more to Pisa than the leaning tower.
