  I had the incredible opportunity to take the Knik Glacier Landing Tour, and it was easily one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. The beauty of the glacier is difficult to put into words—the vastness, colors, and pristine landscape are absolutely breathtaking. A special thank you to the team at Alaska Helicopter Tours for providing such a professional and memorable experience. Our pilot, Cory, was exceptional. Throughout the tour, he shared fascinating information about the glacier's history, formation, and unique features. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for Alaska made the experience even more meaningful. From takeoff to landing, everything was first-class, and the glacier landing itself was something I'll never forget. Standing on a massive glacier surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery on Earth was truly humbling. If you're considering a trip to Alaska, I enthusiastically recommend this tour. In fact, if Alaska isn't already on your bucket list, it should be. The beauty, scale, and overall experience are unlike anything I've ever seen.   This tour was absolutely amazing — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The glaciers were breathtaking, and the entire tour was extremely well organized. The staff were professional, very friendly, and highly customer-service oriented. This was my second tour with the company, and once again they exceeded expectations. I would gladly do it again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alaska. A special thank you to Ashley, our driver, for picking us up, sharing so much interesting information about Alaska, the surrounding areas, and the wildlife, and safely dropping us back afterward. Aaron, our pilot, was amazing throughout the experience. Thank you both for making this trip truly exceptional for us.

  Words can’t describe how incredible this experience was! Aaron was a great pilot (and photographer) and took us to 3 amazing spots that we could not have gotten to on our own. We got to walk around in each location and decide how long we wanted to spend at each. We chose to spend most of our time on the glacier, which was a blast to walk around with spikes on our shoes. Bring a water bottle to drink some glacier water! I definitely think the value was worth the price. We were a couple in the helicopter alone with the pilot and each spot had no one there. Do it!!!

  There are experiences that stay with you forever—and the Grand Knik Glacier tour with Alaska Helicopter Tours is absolutely one of them. From the moment we lifted off with pilot Ben at the controls, it was clear this was something special. As we climbed above the Chugach Mountains, the landscape opened up into something truly breathtaking—miles of untouched wilderness, ice stretching as far as the eye could see. Flying over the Grand Knik Glacier was surreal. Towering 400-foot ice walls, deep crevasses, and scattered blue icebergs created a landscape that felt almost otherworldly. It’s hard to put into words just how vast and powerful it is until you see it from above. Then came the moment that made it unforgettable—touching down on the glacier itself. Standing there, surrounded by nothing but pure ice and mountain silence, was something I’ll never forget. It’s not just a view; it’s a feeling. The flyover back gave us another perspective—sweeping across ridgelines and glaciers, taking in the sheer scale of it all. Every turn revealed something new. A huge thank you to Ben and Josh, our wonderful driver for making the experience so seamless, safe, and memorable.   This was the most amazing tour! The views were stunning and the landings on the glaciers were beyond words. You can tell the staff all love their job and it makes for a fun and friendly atmosphere. There was not one negative I can mention. The entire experience was phenomenal. Shout out to our pilot, Ryan, who went above and beyond to create an extra special and unique experience for us. It was worth every penny we spent. I cannot express my gratitude enough.

  Easy check in, amazing experience. Can’t recommend enough!!! The pilot was great both flying and as a tour guide/photographer.

  We started out a little disappointed because we had booked the glacier landing and dog sled excursion, but due to a blizzard at the dog sled camp, the helicopter was unable to fly up for that portion of the trip. However, the staff was extremely transparent about the situation and gave us several options to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. Once we got in the helicopter, the experience completely turned around. Our pilot, Sam, was absolutely incredible. The flight was smooth, he was very knowledgeable about the area, and he even acted as our personal cameraman throughout the trip. He made the entire experience feel welcoming and unforgettable. It was also fun finding out he grew up in the Midwest, which made it easy to connect and relate to stories from back home. If you’re on the fence about booking this excursion — do it. Standing on top of thousands of years of solid ice was an absolutely surreal and unforgettable experience.

  This was a life time experience. The staff and pilot were so knowledgeable. Facility was welcoming and restrooms were very nice. Good viewing area to watch choppers land an take off. Would do it again and highly recommend.
