Discover the historical sights in Armenia. Learn about local culture and religion at three monasteries, visit Hagpati and Sanahin, and the old monastery of Akhtala is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hagpati and Sanahini monasteries are closely connected and are 40 minutes away from each other. Legend has it that both monasteries were built by father and son masons, Sanahin was built earlier by his father. The name says it all: Sanahin literally means "he is older than others". We will also get to know traditional Armenian cuisine, where we will be hosted by a traditional Armenian family.

5.00This guided tour to Hagpat, Sanahin and Akhtala was a fantastic way to explore Armenia! Our guide was absolutely wonderful—super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of each spot, and went out of their way to assist us with everything we needed. The itinerary was well-organized with great pacing, and I’m very pleased with the entire tour experience.

2.00We will not recommend this trip. We just did not get lucky. The vehicle was old. We never got offered any lunch. They advertise it: "We will also get to know traditional Armenian cuisine, where we will be hosted by a traditional Armenian family"

2.00We had a short trip to Armenia. We had a nice driver. The vehicle was not that comfortable. “We will also get to know traditional Armenian cuisine, where we will be hosted by a traditional Armenian family”. We had no lunch offered at all

5.00I recently had the pleasure of embarking on the Discover Armenia guided tour that included visits to Hagpati Sanahin and Akhtala, along with the delightful addition of a free lunch. This tour truly exceeded my expectations in every way!
