A valid driver's license is required to drive the snowmobile.
Snowmobiles are shared by two people. A single rider per snowmobile is possible for an additional fee.
The minimum age to join the tour is 6 years, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Only one child is allowed per adult on this tour.
Dress appropriately for the weather. In Iceland, it’s always wise to wear warm, waterproof clothing, as the weather can change rapidly.

Gullfoss Falls
Your adventure begins at Gullfoss Café, next to the iconic Gullfoss Waterfall—one of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural landmarks. This powerful two-tiered waterfall plunges 32 meters (105 feet) into a rugged canyon and serves as the perfect backdrop to start your glacier journey. Meet your guides at the Mountaineers of Iceland sign in the parking lot, where you’ll board a specially modified Super Truck for the ride into the highlands.
From Gullfoss, your Super Truck journey takes you deep into Iceland’s rugged interior, toward the Geldingafell mountain area. The ride lasts 35–60 minutes, depending on road and weather conditions, and offers stunning views of volcanic landscapes and snow-covered plains. This off-road trek is part of the adventure, an exciting preview of the glacier experience ahead.

5.00Amazing experience from start to finish! Everything was very well organized. The snowmobile activity was amazing! A big thank you to Thor, who was very friendly and explained everything clearly throughout the excursion. The view of the glacier as well as the ice cave were absolutely stunning and fascinating. The scenery is definitely worth seeing! I highly recommend this activity!

5.00great experience! If you’ve never snowmobiled before, it’s a bit intense for a rookie. I quickly learned I wasn’t cut out to drive solo so ditched my snowmobile and rode on the back of our guides and still got to enjoy the views. Raymond was awesome!!!

2.00There was no ice cave. We were charged extra for an experience we didn't get. We should have been charged for the regular snowmobiling tour. The other guests said the same thing.

5.00Our guide was fantastic! The walk to the caves took about 15 minutes. The cave in the pictures is no longer open (closed in December 2025), but they showed us others.
I went out of my comfort zone and loved it!

5.00I packed a lot of unnecessary clothing for my trip to Iceland. They provided a very warm snow suit, helmet, gloves and boot covers. Half of what I packed was unnecessary for this adventure.

1.00I'm sorry, but it sucks! In the end we take a bus then we change and we take a bus, all to do 15 minutes of snowmobiling then a stop and again 15 minutes of snowmobiling. 900 € for 4 people is 450 € an hour for a snowmobile so it sucks. When I complained on whatsapp, I was blocked!!! Good customer respect. On the other hand 5 stars silfra diving, search for aurora by boat, and visit whales.

5.00An extemely well organised tour. All relevant warm weather gear supplied. My partner had a slight issue with safety briefings not been adhered to but after letting our main guide Edgar know things were quickly and satisfactorily sorted. Would highly recommend.

5.00Outstanding experience. Wish we got to ride more on the snowmobile. The snow was soft and powdery. You could def go fast up to 45km at one time, but you have to follow the line.
