According to Greek mythology, Apollo, god of Light - the sun, and Artemis, goddess of the moon, were born on Delos - infamous birthplace of Light, which the Greeks always regarded as precious.
We bring you to the heart of a destination that will mark an unforgettable experience for you and where you will be accompanied by an exceptional certified guide. An entire ancient city awaits. The visitors will have the chance to explore remarkable monuments such as the Stoa of Phillipe, the Propylaia, the Collosus of the Naxians and the Temples of Apollo before the last stop in front of the Sacred Lake and the eternal Naxian Lions.

Last minute cancellation or inability to disembark from a cruise ship, is not our company’s responsibility, therefore any refund requests due to such incidents will not be accepted. Should the client be aware of such a change, he/she is requested to communicate with our company more than 24 hours before the tour or activity starts, in order to discuss possible date or time amendment (subject to availability).
Refund requests for last minute cancellations (up to 24 hours before the tour or activity), for any reason, will not be accepted.
Check-in time is 60-30 minutes before departure time.
The booking voucher doesn't guarantee boarding the boat nor entrance to the archaeological site. Please make sure you arrive at the Delos Tours kiosk in the Old Port 60-30 minutes before departure time to check in and receive your boat ticket. Entrance fees to the Archaeological Site & the Museum are not included and need to be paid at the Delos Tours kiosk upon check in, in cash only. You will receive your ticket to the archaeological site when you arrive in Delos.
Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The minimum number of participants required for the tour to take place is 8. In the unlikely case that the tour is cancelled because of low participation we will inform you accordingly so you can re-schedule or arrange for a refund

Archaeological Site of Delos
Upon arrival at Delos, your guide will issue tickets to the archaeological site to the group and offer an introduction to the mythological, prehistorical and historical background of the island. Then, set out to explore the narrow streets of the Hellenistic City, built in the 4th century BC, and see highlights such as the impressive house of Dionysos, the statue of Cleopatra, and some exquisite mosaics. After a short stop at the House of the Trident, reach the Theatre of Delos and the public cistern of the city. Stroll down the main street to return to the market and the Sanctuary zone. The Stoa of Phillipe, the donations of ancient celebrities, the Propylaia, the Colossus of the Naxians and the Temples of Apollo are the monuments to be admired before the last stop in front of the Sacred Lake and the eternal Naxian Lions. You will have time to visit the archaeological museum and the museum shop before returning to your boat.

5.00I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful it was. Our guide Celia was knowledgeable about the cite and gave us a lot of pertinent and valuable information. She was awesome!!! The tour itself was organized and efficient. We checked in at the port office at around 9:20am for our 10:00am tour and got our tickets to board the ship. Once we arrived to the island, Delos, our guide Celia quickly gathered us all up and gave us our entry tickets. We avoided the long lines to get in. The tour itself was amazing. Too much to see. The tour lasted 90 minutes, after which we had time to explore the island on our own. We had 3 available times to depart the island. 1:30, 3:00 and 8:00. The entrance to the museum was included with our entry. The museum is a must! Make sure to get a map of the island from the museum so you know what you are seeing and choose your route. But you are free to roam the ruins on your own. Enjoy!

2.00The local and fascinating, a lot of history and the guide was sensational. The view and wonderful. But the viator charged me 70 dollars and I still had to pay 20 euros for the entrance to the archaeological site. At the counter of delostour cusya 79 ja with the entrance!! If Soibesse would have bought already with them. As p tour and the lotacao of the boat does not make much sense skip the line they offer.

4.00We booked the 10am crossing, when you get the small print after it says this ticket does guarantee to the boat. Bit confusing so we made sure we were there an hour before a got a ticket. They let us board at 9:30am and we got seated where we wanted. The cruise ship passengers all seem to arrive about 9:40 to 10. Crossing was calm we were lucky, take a sick bag if prone to sea sickness. The guide I think her name was Leah was very good and took care with our group. You then have 40 minutes to wander on your own, probably not enough time to climb to the peak. It’s a very large site to explore. Take water, sunscreen and a hat. If you are not interested in history I don’t think this visit is for you.

5.00Started with an efficient check-in and boarding onto the boat. The use of the headphones was a plus, so we could hear our guide, no matter how far away we were from her. Our guide Celia was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. She was engaging and had a lot of fun facts to share about Delos. The island was an archeological treasure and it was awesome to be able to walk through the "city" and admire so much of the original structures and artifacts, including sitting in the marble seats of the theater. The museum was small but full of amazing sculptures, etc. Note: Actual time spent on the island was about 2.5 hours, as it was about 20-25 min boat ride each way. Having another 30 minutes more would have been better, as we did not have time to walk up to the Temple of Isis, without missing time spent im the museum.

5.00This tour of Delos was informative and entertaining both. Our guide told us about its history as well as why Delos became the flourishing commercial hub that it was and then also explained its decline. Standing in the places where traders and sailors lived and transacted business was moving, especially as we listened to the same wind and waves. We’re very grateful to our guide for her knowledge and explanations but also consideration of our various previous knowledge and our abilities.

4.00We really enjoyed this tour, it's the best way to immerse yourself with culture and history island of Delos and a variation from Mykonos. The tour was easy to find at old port and on checking in you'll be given the headset and directed where to go. If you want a seat on the upper deck be sure to get there early. It's about a 30 min trip to Delos and for us the waters were really calm. Once you land the guide will meet you. Celia was fantastic, friendly and really knew her stuff. She covers the main parts of the island and there's some time for self exploration. Shoes are recommended but the walking wasn't too arduous, my pregnant wife handled it fine and there was a family with a pushchair who seemed to get on fine as well. I'd strongly recommend bringing water and essentials as the facilities on the island are basic. Exploring the ruins was a highlight of the holiday and well worth the trip. One thing to note, admission to the island is not included in the tour fee. This seems to be the same across all tour companies on TripAdvisor, although some other tours seemed misleading in this respect. The entrance fee was €20 per person which covered access to the whole island and museum. It's annoying to pay separately for this but I'd still consider the trip worthwhile.

5.00A very interesting site to visit as it is an uninhabited archaeological site and also sanctioned by UNESCO. Highly recommended, especially if you’re a history buff. Our guide, I cannot remember her name (we were in Group 2 , 10am tour) was so knowledgeable and that it was such a lovely experience learning about Delos.
