Mother Daughter Fishing Trip

5.00My adult daughters and I had a fantastic half day walk and wade trip with Boston on the Snake River. My daughters had not been fly fishing before and he was patient and knowledgeable with all three of us. He had tips for casting and helped us adjust our form. He also pointed out wildlife, wildflowers and animal tracks along the banks. You can tell he loves what he does. We caught whitefish and trout and we are already planning our next trip together. My daughters said it was the best day they’ve ever had on vacation. When we are back in Jackson Hole we will definitely book another trip and request Boston!

5.00We had an incredible fishing trip in Jackson Hole with The Wandering Angler, and our guide, Jackson, made the entire experience outstanding. He was personable, fun, and easy to spend the day with, which made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. Jackson was also extremely patient in teaching us about fly fishing, explaining the different techniques, and helping us understand the different kinds of trout we caught. He was fully prepared with all the gear we needed and clearly put a lot of thought into making sure we had a great experience on the water. What stood out most was how focused Jackson was on making the trip fun, memorable, and successful for us. We highly recommend The Wandering Angler and would absolutely book with Jackson again!

5.00Jackson was an excellent fly fishing guide! My family caught a Rocky Mountain Whitefish and several Cutthroat Trout. Jackson's fly fishing instructions were very easy to understand. We stayed dry in the waders! We have great photos and had a great time!

5.00We had a great afternoon walking and fishing along the Snake River. Our guide Jack was fantastic; he was personable and helpful and spent extra time making sure we had a good experience. My kids (age 15 and 13) caught a lot of fish ... mainly whitefish, but a couple of cutthroat trout and one big suckerfish! We would absolutely do this trip again.

5.00We both had never been fly fishing before and thought this would be the perfect way to learn! Let me tell you Fly Fishing was the highlight of our trip! We did the 4 hour wade trip and it was so dang fun and we caught so many fish! Boston was an amazing instructor, so patient, kind and informative! We truly learned so much and walked away with the skills to get by at home with a new hobby! Boston truly made our experience amazing I would highly recommend not only the Wade tour but Boston as your guide!

5.00Our first time to Jackson Hole, so we wanted to try fly fishing. Having never done it before, we needed a guide to show us how and where to fish. Boston with The Wandering Angler "hooked" us up! With 0 experience, Boston taught us well and had us on fish fast!!! Thank you so much for the experience!!!
